Ahhh, Cherenkov Radiation. I'm very glad I don't have to say the first time I heard of that was in that one Doug Winger pic concerning "blueballs" since I was an avid reader of the back of my high school physics book.

Well researched, but considering how much Bifrost Radiation you've seen shoofing around in this comic, my bet's on that being the Glow of Choice.

Bifrost Radiation is pretty similar to Hawking Radiation in that it has to do with subatomic particles going strange on you due to locally freakish gravity conditions. Its green color is due to the "bursty" nature of its spectal density.

But perhaps I've said too much.

Bifrost Radiation is green.

Saundra Bifrost invented time portals.

Time portals are green.

Coincidence? I bet not.

I take it that Bifrost is the family name of Saundra's polar bear grandfather?

You know, if it weren't for the fact that we've seen excplained in this universe that the timeline, in the end, isn't truely disruptable... I would be very, VERY worried right now.

Sounds like a typical Troubleshooter's day, where I come from.

Man, am I glad I got outta there.

Though it would have been nice to hold onto my original body (well, actually, it was my second body, technically, but I didn't have to share it with anyone). Sometimes I wonder how long Schol-R-LEA;3 and the rest survived, but the more I think about it, the more it creeps me out, especially since I'll probably be centuries dead before Schol-R-LEA;1 is created in the first place.

The truth is most of the inspiration (If it can even be called that) is the result of dismantling the intricate (Feel free to laugh whenever I use this word) workings of the chain of command I work with. A once thought imaginary place where the workers were the competent ones keeping the managerial positions in place through their endless (Indentured or otherwise) work. Basicaly I take reall life events, change the names, and add a little spice, the underlying meaning is wholy based on actual events, believe me I can't make up this kind of stupidity (I know I've heard that somewhere before, oh well I hoope I don't get sued over it), if I could it would cause my head to implode as it trys to shelter itself from the stupid.

Micro_fur - I'm an engineer, not an administator damn it! *SOB* <-- Not acronym

DR. Sisyphus?

Somehow I don't think that Saundra or the University itself will take too kindly to Sissy's blatant assumption of that title, considering that they still haven't awarded it to her. As far as I know, she hasn't even completed her thesis defence yet. It would be pretty funny if this issue made Saundra more angry than any other aspect of the rampage.
Later,
Karlbob

I thought it was something more along the likes of a prefix name, like Displacement Research, or Dipole Recombination.

I now discover that Dr. Hellen Narbon of http://www.narbonic.com is not really a doctor either.

Thus I shall leave Sissy's thesis undefended for the time being.

Well, yeah, but I now no longer feel the need to defend the fact that she hasn't.
