Yes. Very.

Although I don't quite get how he could be telling his son that he's shit one minute, then giving him a pretty significant momento the next.

The art is very good though... Pretty much what I expected it to be. Must see more.

that's beautiful

the art reminds me of very much of the art of Yoshitaka Amano.

I don't think I'll have time to start the next part until the end of this month but I think it'll go a lot faster than the first part did. I'm glad people liked it so far.

Wow, certainly makes you think, doesn't it? I reall enjoyed the portion I read. Something different. I loved the artwork in it, the 'cinematography' so to speak. Especially the page with the cigarette butt hitting the ground and the car driving away.

Whoo, golly, is this going to be intesting.

What I'm really looking forward to is seeing characters Like Shane, Clint, and Lana seen through Roland's eyes.

Maybe even Sal will show up

Looks like ur strip's a hit Jeff!
And we all can't wait to see more. I love the way its described as "cinematography", the word really fits well.
I love you!

Wow! Awesome strip! Love the cigarette scene. Love the shadowing. Love the shifting perspectives. Speaking of shifting, the father's face seems to shift in appearence between mean and diabolicaly evil. The guy's got problems.

Do I detect a bit of McFarlane influence? It's original, tho'.

Bring us more! Must have more!

Woah... His father is going to give me nightmares! I feel so sorry for Roland. At first I didn't like Roland but how can you expect a guy with that kind of father to turn out any other way?

Well, anyways, I really like the art and I can't wait till we get to see more! I can't believe how good all the shadows look! O_O And the story looks very interesting, Josh.

yes indeedy. Scribbly Daddy was very loosely influenced by Japanese drawings of Demons (with the bulging eyes and flowing lines...the emphasis is on very tho). I guess that's where someone was able to see a conection between my work and Yoshitaka Amano's. I sure didn't see it.

P.S. I started the next part...not making any promises on when it's gonna be done tho...

I love what's been done so far. Although at times the artwork is a little hard to understand, it matches the hard-to-understand deepness and feel of the strip. This is totally a great side of Roland.

So his uncle's name is Kyo, and I can't help but notice a slight physical similarity between Roland and the main character of KOF. Cool.

Roland's dad is an interesting character, he hates his son, but is aware that despite this, his son is still his son, hence he cares for his son in his own way. I would like to know the basis of aforementioned loathing. Also some exposition on the relationshi between his parents would be nice, but now I'm getting picky.

Can't wait for more.
