I dont think Delegato was given a easy choice. To decide between a life with Neoma and her child and continuing his boyhood at the age of only 16, could not have been easy. He is still young, but he seems determined to stay by Neomas side even if it means that he won't have the same freedom of choise as before. I think this shows Delegatos inner strength and true worth.
