Just thought I'd bounce on in and start with the Questions!
So, 1st question: Is there going to be some sort of "Bios" page, with character background info, maybe a little "evolution" (preferably with some examples), or any such devellopments as those?
After all, any excuse for more images of our ample mousie-girl are always welcome
2nd question: are you going to expand this page to include liks to your old sketchpad, or is that page pretty much gone now?
Well, that's my questions. Feel free to use this thread for informaiton gathering/dispursal, folks!

Add me to that list of Rabid Fans I was thrilled to see Misty the Comic on the web, since I had seen the bios on the Great Dutch's page, and was more than a little intrigued as to what the comic would be like.
I must say Kudos to the Artist! You have the respect and admiration of the entire Hampster Legion.

S'Ok, Dutch
We all make oversights from time to time, and that's what us rabid fans are here for! To scrutinize your work 'till you are more picky about it than a rabid accountant at tax time, and 'encourage' you to new heights of professionalism you never even dreamed of.
Now, come down from that ledge, there, Dutch! You know it won't do any good to jump! *Somebody* would just have to catch you, and then you'd be laid up in the hospital with the guilts for not having updated the site for the time it takes them to realign your spine...
Did I mention that you have a few rabid fans out here? Was I fairly clear that we care, and wouldn't want you to burn yourself out?
Just didn't want you to miss anything
Now, if I could get some colour work from somewhere, I'd hack together a batch of Icons for ya, sometime...

Yep count me in too now that I found the place. I think it's cool, now I get to see Misty and Co. more often than every so often in Furrlough. Just be careful not to burn yourself out on it. I'd hate to see the strips go.
------------------
I think it's time to blow this scene,
get everybody and their stuff together.
OK 3, 2, 1 lets jam.

Well, that is an interesting take! I've thought about who'd do voices for my characters as well, but I must say the line-up came out a bit different. No biggie, I always like to hear how my characters "sound" to others. In my humble opinion, I always thought this:
Misty: Bernadette Peters or Sigourney Weaver (I know, oppsoite ends of the spectrum)
Jules: Never thought about, except Mel Gibson probably would make a good voice!
Lyle: Lars Ulrich from Metallica.
Maggie: Suzanne Sommers or maybe Bernadette Peters if we got Sigourney to do the voice for Misty.
-Dutch

Hrm. Speaking of Background voices...there was a thing done on a mailing list I'm on at one time. It was 'If there was a movie made, starring particular furry critters, who would do the voices for them? Well, here's my take.
Jules: Mel Gibson (Or David Hasslehoff)
Misty: Drew Barrymore
Lyle: Bobcat Goldthwait (Like, duh! )
Maggie: Pamela Anderson
I'd have a few more, but I can't always seem to recall the names of particular characters or the names of actors/actresses offhoof. But it'll come to me some day!

Interesting, Dutch. Though, for the life of me, I can't remember who Bernadette Peters is. Brain is getting mushy with age...
And for some reason, I always imagined Maggie sounding like Fran Drescher . =O_o=
-AngryDave

Hey! That's right! Fran Drescher would be the one! How could I forget Fran?? Awhile back, a friend of mine suggested the exact same actress for Maggie's voice.
Anyway, Bernadette Peters played as Steve Martin's girlfriend/wife in The Jerk. She also did the voice for Rita the cat on Animaniacs.
-Dutch

Heh, what's bad is that I couldn't place the name until you identified her as Rita. I've only seen The Jerk once, and I'm terrible with names. Now as for Maggie, I think of her as having a voice similar to the actress who played Sharlene (sp?) on Designing Women. Jules...hmmm...a fairly down to earth guy like Woody on Cheers. As for the salesman, Ben Stein is close, but this guy doesn't have Ben's tendency to drawl. I can hear the voice in my head, but I can't put a name to it. I don't much listen to heavy metal, but I've heard interviews of various artists. The ones who truly believe in their music like the members of Led Zepplin and Metallica, when they talk about their songs they all sound about like the salesman."

Hrm...Sigourney Weaver as Misty....I dunno. Somehow, I can't place Misty as being the gal who's run around in the dark with a bunch of giant bugs and guns. But *giggle* Bernadette is a good choice. Maggie's too hyper.
