Anime: Drugs Would Be Cheaper

Well, first off. ReBoot isn't an Anime. It's a fully CGI show made by Mainframe, the same guys who did Best Wars and War Planets.It ran on ABC for two seasons, and the thrid season only had aired in Canada until CN got the rights to show all three seasons in the US two years back. Season 4 just started and I missed the first two episodes.As far as MY addictions.ANIME:
1)Evangelion
2)Trigun
3)Big ONot to mention the 40+ dollars a week I spend on comic books.And Erin would hate Sailor Moon, but I know her better than most. ^^;------------------

Anime Anime Anime,I used to hate the stuff until a friend forced me to watch about 8 or 9 hours of Sailor Moon and Evangelion over a span of two nights. And I must say it's taken countless hours away from my like.

OK, that's it. Proof that anime is addictive (as if we needed the proof)! Check out the news section. October 22 -- Dennis, who normally keeps the comic G-rated, uses no fewer than three words my mother would frown at in discussing how he'd missed the season premiere of some anime.... addictive, I say! Even the television version, which is supposedly free (except for the cable fees!) gets you hooked... and then you start buying it... I'm relatively low on the addiction list -- I suppose I'm hooked on Tenchi, and I will cheerfully sacrifice chocolate and coffee in favor of Dirty Pair, and if anyone knows where I can get my hands on an episode of Fake that's one *other* than the vacation to the haunted resort that's run by the guy who's got some issues, please please please tell me, I've been looking for it... I'd even put up with dubbing for that. And Lain... ooooh. What's everybody else addicted to? What are Scott, Kevin, and Annamae addicted to? What would instantly hook Erin?

Favorite animes? Geez, where to start...DNA^2, Iria, Irresponsible Captain Taylor, Nadesico, and Kimagure Orange Road, to name a few. Although I don't admit to liking KOR out loud.Oops.------------------

I seem to be in the process of being dragged feet-first into anime addiction. Mostly, I only watch anime when people around me are watching it; only rarely do I seek it out on my own, and I don't rearrange my life to fit around it. I guess that would make me the social drinker of anime maniacs? I mean, I like it, but I'm often just too busy... I guess that would make me more like Erin than like Annamae. bleh, being very uneducated in the world of anime (i've slowly been getting into it...thanks to my buddy Kyla), my big addictions have yet to present themselves...however, Tenchi's on my list. and considering everyone says that the tv series and what was aired on cartoon network isn't great (tenchi in tokyo...what the hell...bleh), i KNOW i'm gonna love the OAV when i finally get a chance to see it...i've only seen bits and pieces...annoys the hell out of me.------------------

2. Tons of SF&F Novels - Mostly, too, the somewhat funny ones, like Robert Asprin and G.R.R. Martins Dragon Knight series
3. Most FF Games (esp. 5, 6(3) and VII - haven't played VIII+ yet)Oh, yes... Reboot... I liked the series. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, over here (Germany) there were only the first two seasons aired. Drat. But maybe it gets a resurrection some time...Okay, that's it... Happy to read comments!

(Hihi, I'm a newbie here ^_^) I don't have money for much of anything outside TV, but as far as the things-I-must-get list goes, here's mine (in no particular order):-Slayers
-Evangelion
-Cardcaptor Sakura (the manga and the subtitled - the dub literally makes me sick >_<)And as for non-Anime:
-Harry Potter (I blame my friend for taunting me when I was bored >_<)
-Muuuuuuusic (Jpop, alternative, chorus class...)
-LunAr (or should I have put that under anime? ...naaaah.)What can I say? I have limited resources...curse my inability to buy online!------------------
