Ever the innovator of sound effects, T has shown us that even in the most solemn moment Tim is already to astound us all with his utter lack of shame.
I'm really glad that Clara took in stride though, or else there'd really be nothing between Tim and a good "KRACK!", "POW" , or "Ka-BAM!"
Two more things.
Tim's belly button is so disgusting looking!
Tim's head in frame five has inspired me to do a bit of Fennish artistry.....
------------------

and I just finished reading "Men at Arms", too...

Anyways, I agree that Tim probably has the right idea, and I think that everyone else will probably realize that soon. You have to enliven the last days of life if at all possible, IMO

THe trouble with the earlier update time is that everyone else gets to post before I do. I need to start developing some more insomnia....
...I agree that Tim is the only one who's really gotten it right. He alone seems to realize that Clara isn't dead yet and that there's no reason to treat her as if she is. Yes, it is a sad moment and yes, there is a time for reflection. There should also be time for friendship and whatever joy Clara and those who care about her can bring eachother.

Not really true (Pratchett sits in 26 volumes next to bed!). Carrot appears simple, while being incredibly complex. At first, he didn't understand his relationship with the werewolf, but that changed. As she she thinks herself many a times, you would have to be incredibly complex to be as simple as Carrot. The Vimes books will probably end with Carrot being on the other side of Vimes (foreshadowed in Jingo.)
Rikk, on the other hand, is simple most of the time, except when he gets in a dangerous situation and becomes something more...
Actually, come to think of it, especially Rikk's charisma, his ability to lead... he is like Carrot.
It's late at night, and rambling becomes automatic.

A smile to the face of a dying woman, very nice indeed, but I'm sure the F.I.B. has a fountain of youth someplace. Just out of curiosity is 'Smap' harder of softer than the more traditional and less interesting 'Smack'?
Smap, i think, is a close, but gentler cousin to Fwap. More a playful than irritated sound.
Man... Tim redeems himself. Rikk's got something he could learn, there. Don't treat the dying like china dolls, give them real hugs, real, tangible things that can bring them joy.
Yeah, they're dying... but they ain't dead yet, durnit!
Eri

Since we're on the subject of Tim's little 'outburst', am I the only one that noticed that he's wearing the exact same shirt as when the two first met?
Maybe not mourning the dying, but still keeping them in mind.
