I know. I know.

These boards move slightly slower than presidential elections. They ask for logins at weird intervals. They claim that I registered with them five years before I was even born.

But there is hope.

Gav, Keenspace and Keenspot Tech Supreme, is upgrading the lot of us to a board system that should be faster than ANYTHING we've seen before. This is just an intermediate step to getting there, that's all.

The size of the page containing my "swearwords" threead is 163 KB, of which 118 Kb is associated with the Keenspace Forum Index link and the Jump To dropdown. The page is ten times the size of a similar page on an EZ board.

I suspect this has a lot to do with the abysmally poor performance we are experiencing from the Keen boards.
