Tonight on FOX at 8pm est, the Glutton Competition. Watch a bunch of people eat tons and tons of food til one of their stomachs bursts open like that scene in Alien, and food and entrails go spewing forth like so much confetti....

ah, I love television.

I'm so torn between that, the Rock's Funeral on Smackdown and cute 12 year old girls, almost naked, skating that I think my brain will surely explode....Thank God for VCRs

I gave up TV years ago. And I can't tell if you guys are even kidding. "Fear Factor" destroyed any conception I had about what people might and might not show on the boob tube.

Speaking of cute 12 year old girls... That guy that won looked like a girl! That was so disturbing to watch. At one point I was eating banana bread my girlfriend made, and then they were eating those cow tongues, and I almost threw up.

Did someone say something about giving up TV? Whachyou talkin bout, Willis?! Sure it is the opiate of the masses, but Spartacus's viewing habits nothwithstanding, there are some great shows on TV.

Hey, I watch good TV too...

My favorite shows:

The Job on ABC Wed at 9:30 est

Bernie Mac on Fox Wed at 9:00 est

West Wing on NBC Wed at 9:00 est

( Bastards put all my favorites on against each other! )

Alias on Sundays is slowing turning into my most favorite.

Also Trading Spaces on TLC is strangely addictive. It has become our dinner entertainment.

But nothing beats Twin Peaks and probably never will.

I skipped past Fox's showing last night when channel surfing, I found watching news cast reports about how the Canadian hockey team won gold much more satisfying. ^_^

Typically, I watch .. Boston Public, Crossing Jordon, Buffy, Enterprise, Law & Order, Angel, Law & Order SVU and Andromeda. In two different sessions.. Thank god for VCRs where I can fast forward through the commercials AND the hook lady scenes. ^_^

Well, while we are rattling off favorite TV shows, some of mine:

Alias: a damned good show that I cannot miss
Oz
NYPD Blue
Family Guy
Bernie Mac
Everybody Loves Raymond
King of Queens
24: I've seen a couple, taped the rest...now to find where the tapes are before the season ends!

and then the shows that are good, but I just don't have time to watch often.
Buffy, Gilmore Girls, all the Law and Orders (what are there 7 now?),CSI, X-Files

and yes, I have been suckered into watching Changing Rooms, and the BBC version 'Trading Spaces'.(or vice versa--I can never remember)

My all time favorite show, which you can catch on Court TV in reruns.
Homicide, Life on the Streets: there has never been a finer drama on tv, in my opinion

I never get anything done because I keep trying to do more things at one time than I should. I try to multi-task, give up after a few hours and go do something completely different and unproductive. I really have to learn to *schedule* myself. ^_^

There's three Law and Order shows.. The normal one (10pm Wednesdays), SVU (10pm Fridays) and Criminal Intent or something or other which I find really lack. ^_^

(And of course, my word is law for I bake awesome cookies)
