Well, at the risk of seeming over-eager, Eve here is a very lonely demon from hell. She's sarcastic, intellectual, a little judgemental, and allegedly has a great figure under that cloak thing.
She's available too.
She's available too.

Yeah, you could have him take out any of the women in my strip. I have some nice choices for good comic dates. Your best bet would be Joanie, as she's not exactly involved with any of the males in the strip.
A short list of Joanie's greatest hits...

I'll stop there. You get the idea... There's a large amount of other strips at

Great job on them, too! I have a suggestion, tho. You might put a link to the comic you are crossing over into somewhere on that new page you are making. Was trying to find Greg R. Fishbone's strip and wasn't able to, as an example.anywherebuthere wrote:I'm trying to work out a page just for the 50 first dates. I'm not quite there yet.
What you can do is click on the last two Saturday strips to see the first two atempts.

You're welcome to use Mer from my strip if you like, as long as you remember that:
a) She's seeing someone already and thus
b) will probably do something violent to you for asking (though it looks like she's not the only one
You're also welcome to use Sam, though he's a guy. You can always think he's a girl or something, and he can try to convince you otherwise
There's also a crazy woman that Zak dated for a short period of time you're welcome to.

That's one of the things that I'm working on for the archives. The problem right now is that the strips are being saved as a "daily" strip. So when I do a full update the page is automaticaly being reset as a page in my archives.Pegaso wrote:Great job on them, too! I have a suggestion, tho. Like I said I'm working on a way to get an archive for each of the strips, but I'm having problems getting things working out just as I want. (IE having individual links to the crossover strip, having things set up to archive things automatically so I don't have to do it.)
If anyone has a suggestion, or a css for it, please let me know.

You could make a mini html file containing a bit of a blurb about the particular comic and including a link to the original and save it as the date with an 'a' after the name. That's how I keep my blurbs and comments beneath each particular comic in the archives.
If the comic's date was 20050412, then you'd make the little html file with all the crap inside it and name it 20050412a.html. Autokeen does its stuff and puts the comic and anything else with the date in the name into the page, with 20050412 first, then 20050412a below it, and 20050412b below that and so on ad finitum.
As I said, that's how I manage my commentary below each of my comics. You might be able to make use of it in these cases too.
Cheers.

another gal available is Natasha, one of my few female characters. She's cold and tnds to makes references to planes(as she is an air strike commander and advisor). I only have one comic with her, and it's not even a full body shot, but all she wears is a purple shirt, her blue overcoat, and matching pants. her shoes are usually of the combat boot variety.

OK, the characters that I'ld like to use in strips and I'm waiting for authors to contact me...or in some cases they have contacted me and I've been able to work out a strip with them:BERSERKERCREW wrote:can u list the female characters u have chosen for the 50 first dates??

Maria from Last Weeks News
Laura from Beyond Reality
CJ Burgunday and Crew from Burgundy Comics INC.
The Green Avenger from The Green Avenger
Chaucer from Fairy Trash
Rama from Vote for This Comic
Rosemary from The Mansion of E
Kailana from Elvinbath
Rachael from Sam and Eli's Adventures
Penny from Many Tidings Grim
Jaeger from The Longest Sojourn
Tube from Ragtag
Kerra from Deus Ex Magica (although I am toying with using Rhince after a mild moment of clarity hit and I could come up with a punchline)
Aphrodite from Angry D. Monkey
Candi from Candi (although I'm still formulating an idea for it.)
Tracy from Tracy and Tristin
Strips that I'm RACKING my brain for ideas on:
Miss Conway from School Spirit
Monica from Decypher
Trisha from Netrek
Marianne from Pirate Queen Marianne
Scorpio from The Violet
Joanne from A Better Life then This.
Regan Oswald from er...whatever the strip is. Hmmmm...Cope, what IS your strip again?
Pimpette from Pimpette and Associates
Winter from Picatrix
Cher Desilva- which won't even be touched for a few months untill Joel get's his strip's first chapter done.
An unnamed amnesiaic character from Hopscotch
Natasha from Operation T.C.
I think that's about it. That means 16 comics that I have some idea of what to do, and 11 that I'm just staring at hoping for inspiration to crap itself into the toilet of my mind.
Anyone I missed? I think all the creators who have posted in this thread should have probibly gotten a PM from me, if not PM me and let me know.
Aside from that...well I still have spots for over 20 strips.
Get in while you can. Supply is limited

Beneath each of my comics, I've got a table set up with a blurb from me, as well as the storyline dropdown, monthly calendar, update schedule, coming soon blurb, quote of the week, and until September, a little update telling everyone my football team is on the bottom of the ladder.
The whole kaboodle is just a seperate html file I've saved under the name of the update date. So if the date of the comic was April 18th, I'd save the html as 20050418a.html.
The 'a' is on the end, so that when Autokeen updates, it will put it after the comic with the same date. Both are stored in the comics section in the workspace folder thingo.
Oh, I also included an exta set of navigation keentags at the top of the html file as well so the navigation buttons would appear below the comic as well as below all the autokeen crap.
As for ideas for Miss Conway...she's the teacher...maybe she could crack the shits at going out with someone not as sensible, etc, as the eleven year olds she teaches or something. I don't know.
Hope any of this helps...
Cheers.
