Because I'm a team player, I throw my character Deva into the "if you're scraping the bottom of the barrel" category.

A quasi decent sketch is here.
First appearance that people can understand.
First use of her current style/version.

Have you read my strip.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel would be a step up for my characters...

I dunno if something that just hit 5000+m genuine visits could be the bottom of the barrel. ;)

No no no, the strips doing pretty well...even I'll admit that :P

I mean my characters...er...my MAIN character at least. Let's just say his ability to attract women is something that I can imagine being somewhat legendary.

And what would be even MORE legendary would be his complete ineptitude to realize that if he HAS attracted a woman that she would, in fact, be interested....

http://anywherebuthere.keenspace.com/d/20050322.html

I rest my case. He TRIES hard, I'll give him that. He's a real trooper, but social skills around the opposite sex are NOT something that he's mastered...if you catch my drift.

I'm sorry I hadn't seen this before. Ugly Girl sounds made for this job, and you're more than welcome to use her. Thanks for the heads up.

I suppose it's about time I threw my hat into the ring...you've got enough spaces left :P

Anyway, if you'd like, my character Fuchsia would be available for a date. You're virtually guaranteed to get lucky by the end of the night, if not sooner!

Provided, of course, that he doesn't manage to screw it up somehow.
And let's face it...he will.

If you don't want to go through my entire archives, she makes her first appearance here, with (naturally) the better art coming more recently.

If you'd like, you're free to use any of my characters ^^. Although I only have three or so girls.

Good luck with getting to all 50!

You missed me in your listing, but that's understandable because I haven't done much with the character I offered (Vivian) and I placed a limit. But I'm almost there! She's going to be in her second strip tomorrow, although she doesn't have a line. (Oof. I just realized that I'm probably going to be drawing eleven characters later today. Maybe I'll do them as sprites.) I'll get to the limitation in a couple of weeks, I think, and then she's all yours.

You could create a dropdown menu for an archive. The code is something like this:

STORYLINES
-----------------------
Prejudice and Preamble,/d/20050112.html
Senseless Soap,/d/20050207.html
A Pretty Penny,/d/20050324.html

Save that in a file named dropdown.txt (it looks like you can only have one dropdown per site), put it in your /data folder, and update. Don't include excess commas.

Mon ami, you should have something better to do than make things up all the time.

Hello. I'm getting in to this pretty late, and I've only got one female character so far, but she's a main-y type character so there's almost a month of material on her. I have no idea if you still need characters for this, but there she is.

Hey there.

I'm enjoying the date strips so far! I'd like to be part of this.

If you're looking for more dates, Cache from my strip would be pretty good. She's an android built out of a GameCube, with the combination of innocence-questioning + hyper overreaction-violence going on. She's sorta going out with another character, but since all your poor guys dates so far seem to end in failure that shouldn't be a problem. She might not even realise she's on a date, then leave when she does (hey, a plot idea).

A couple of her appearances:
http://cube30.keenspace.com/d/20040918.html (big and old)
http://cube30.keenspace.com/d/20041213.html
http://cube30.keenspace.com/d/20050128.html (bonus art)

http://cube30.keenspace.com/d/20050328.html
http://cube30.keenspace.com/d/20050418.html

My other female character, Laze, is SO going out with someone. And based on a real person, who is going out with someone EVEN MORE. So you can't use her!

Can I jump on the bandwagon too? Huh, Huh, Huh? I dunno how it would work with my comic, 'cause it's so early in (10 pages Whoohoo!) But you can feel free to use any of my female characters (which is most of the cast) here is a list...

http://epidelu.keenspace.com/cast.html

I actually would offer up Mirage or Chibi up as the date, considering Mirage isn't Datable and Chibi kinda is..:D

Then again, I'd have to get you an image with Mirage with clothes on... I don't think I have a page with that up yet... And my archives are not that large, so hopefully you'll choose me ..:D

*eyes well up with love*

You can use Jenny, from my comics. But a warning to your nameless main character, that 1. She's a cat, and 2., she's already married, and her hubby can be a grouch.

I can provide profile image of her by request.

P.S., like your comics :)

Oh, I SO want to be part of this. :D

If you're not yet filled up, feel free to use any non-insect from my comic (you can use an insect if you want to, of course, it'd just be... weird). Just keep in mind that a) Except for Lisa's mom and the insects, they're all 13-14 years old, and b) if you use Lisa, keep in mind that she's probably never been asked for a date before. Ever.

Lets see here...my main character has absolutly NO luck with cats...

This should be fun.

No problem, I feel like I'm getting behind myself. Keeping everything organized and coming up with ways to tell the same joke 50 different ways is a little more challanging then I expected.

Hah - challenges build character!

By the way, are strip submissions valid? I mean, are we allowed to ape your style and submit it as a strip in the crossover?

Absolutly, Provided the "creative veto" works both ways. At any time you don't like what I'm doing with your characters (how I draw them, the script, ect) you have every right to say "nope, that's just not right".

All I ask is the same. If for instance you have my lead drawn like Marlon Brando with a gigantic penis of a nose saying "SUCK IT BABY, SUCK IT TILL IT POPS LIKE A CREAM FILLED BISMARCK!", I'ld probibly veto that because it's pretty much completly out of character.

Then again...the thought of Marlon Brando with a cream filled bismarck strapped to his nose screaming "SUCK IT! SUCK IT DRY!" does give me a strange sense of fascination....

hmmmmmmmmm....
