the conversation is taking place over several days.
And chatting is cheaper than phone calls. especially from undisclosed exotic locales....

Ah that explains that.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

Three weeks of non-stop broadcast TV would drive ANYBODY bonkers.... :o ....what hideously twisted minds Lobo's gang had.

Hmmm ...

This explains allot about my in-laws. They're completely bonkers and only get broadcast TV. (Cable is evil, apparently.)

If he's been going around bullying tibetian monks and hording radom bits of extraodinary treasure, I'd wager he might have come across some method of prolonging his life.

You know when people came up with the no "cruel or unusual punishment" and anti-torture laws....I think this was the sort of thing they had in mind. :o :o :o

Poor bloke.

I think "Weird Al" summed it up most succinctly :
HBO and Playboy,
Showtime and MTV
I might like them more,
after my lobotomy

I wonder what Lobo did with the poor fellow after he got what he wanted? Considering Lobo's personality, a 9mm brain hemorrhage and a shallow, unmarked grave is a distinct possibility. :(

I dunno - after that, a quick death would be a mercy... :P

Given Lobo's twisted psyche, I could see him leaving the monk there to die in agony.
When trouble arises and things look bad, there's always one individual who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. Very often, that individual is insane.

Have you heard the new one off of his Poodle Hat album, "Couch Potato": (to the tune of Eminem's "Lose Yourself")
Oh, and "Fear Factor" I watched maybe a half hour
After that, felt like I needed a long shower
Network execs with naked ambitions
"Next week on FOX, watch lions eat Christians"

Like to tie up those programming planners
Make 'em watch all of that junk 'til their heads explode just like "Scanners"
Leech-covered grub-eatin' fools on "Survivor"
Look there's James Lipton discussing the oeuvre of Mr. Rob Schneider

And there's "Gilligan" and "SpongeBob", plus there's "MacGyver"
And Jay Leno has got Madonna, hey there's Luke Perry on a
Special all Pig-Latin episode of "Drew Carey"

Wanna turn on "E.T." 'cause I'm a gossip freak
And I gotta know who J. Lo is marryin' this week
A 30 second spot
Then we come back to "Are You Hot?"
I was planning on recording "The Sopranos"
I forgot

I love shows with or without a plot
I'll stare 'til my legs are numb, my eyes bloodshot
Because I only have got
One brain to rot
I'm gonna spend my life watching television a lot!
