I always KNEW those swans were up to no good...

You haven't seen what a gaggle of geese can do, have you?

Ah, having to take orders from individuals intent on ruining their own enterprises... how little my life changes even when on the big screen!

A friend of mine, by way of vilifying real-life swans, reported a swan hitting him with its wings. I proceeded to tell him about Leda, implying that it was hitting on him. His response: "All this time, I had no idea that swans were interspecies sexual predators!"

But while this one is reveling in her sheer cruel power, my attention is diverted in part to the handmaiden. The fact that she's the same species as the hero makes me wonder if there'll be a love interest. That may be narrow-minded, but, you know, most movies are.

Really, the Mute swan which in not native in North America is classifiec as a deleterious species in many states (Washington State for one) and should be removed from the wild. They have been know to attack people and have broken arms of young children and in one case drowned a man when they knocked him out of his small boat.

Regarding swans, I can't help but quote:

A sincere Bohemian man, Huss was burned at the stake in AD 1369 by the church, in ONE OF HER MOST INFAMOUS ACTS. One of his last statements was prophetic when he said, "You are roasting a poor Bohemian goose, but in 100 years there will arise a swan whom you will neither roast nor boil."

His prophecy was fulfilled in the person of Martin Luther 100 years later!

In a temporary fit of insanity, I thought about coloration of the Admiral Alexander's uniform. So I um... colored it.

Darnit, this must make me into some kinda psycho fanboy now. Great. Just what I wanted.

Ralph told me that Violante was supposed to be in purple, but since she wasn't in color, she just kinda... yeah. And so I made her purple. But me not being female, I have no idea what kind of color clothing goes well with purple. So her clothes just got left white, just because. Yeah. That's a good reason, ain't it?

White works.

And being female has nothing to do with it. I'm female, and I have no clue what color I'd wear if I were purple.

(There's a reason I almost always wear blue jeans - I don't have to worry about not matching, because everything goes with blue jeans.)

Now that I see the admiral with grey fur, he reminds me of "Ol' Hardarse" from TotQ.

Yes, well... it has been said that women see in 256-bit color while men see in 32-bit color. The only reason I know this color "Mauve" is that I looked it up on Wikipedia then put the Hex-triplet into Photoshop. And the difference between "moss" and "celadon"... yeah, I don't see it. It's all just green to me.

One other thing to note: A live-feed? How stupid can you be? You're going to put someone on LIVE? The smart thing to do would be to tape their oath and THEN broadcast it. It eliminates the chance of anything unexpected happening. But if it's live...there is always the chance for some unexpected surprises. :D

Yeah, like American POWs greeting their captors on live TV, giving them the "Hawaiian good luck sign", and the Vietnamese smiling and laughing and saying, "See, they're happy and well-treated!" (Hint, the Hawaiian good luck sign involves a particular finger and is used regularly by New York-trained drivers.)

I thought that was Koreans, from the Pueblo incident.
