thanks! i'm doing it bigger and scaling it down; that also helps. on top of the whole painter thing.
as for finals: i always sorta enjoyed finals week. i mean, the exams themselves were unpleasantries to be suffered through, but without classes there was lots of free time and people who, though they wouldn't admit it, were just looking for something to distract them from studying; or to distract you when it's your turn.
unless it's filled up with papers and projects and such; then it indeed equals suck.
mike

I'm going to miss half of finals week because of a stupid trip, so my study time has been cut almost in half and I'm none too pleased.
Good luck with your finals, Virgil.
Y'know I'm also kind of confused as to who Athena's talking to... I'll just go look it up. Don't mean to scare you off again Mike, but I think the Cast list should be the site's next big update.
[Edit] Note to self: stop posting on message boards about having no time and start studying.
[This message has been edited by MizunoL (edited 05-08-2001).]

Finals = Over. *doing a happy dance* One day of utter hell, and I probably flunked calc, but who cares? It's OVER, damnit, and I can go back to being a 3.75 student again.
Who's the talking head in the fourth panel? Don't think I've seen him/her/it before. Artemis is on the ship, isn't she? ... ...
Anyway. Lookin' good, Mike. Hang in there, Virgil; we all gotta go through it at one time or another.
Later, all; I must needs move before the Evil Empire kicks me out of my room. Stupid 'crats.

Thanks for the instant message of support Aglauros
US Political Systems has been rocked thanks to a combination of late night studying (copying someone else's notes) and coffee (extra large, black). Now on to European history and philosophy. As my friend would say:
"What...the...F*CK?!?!"

As for today's comic: "We've got a bleeder!"

V: Congratulations! And good luck.
And luck to the rest of you, too. It feels kinda early for finals, but...one week seems so much like the next, y'know?
I got so far as going through and writing up a list of characters--but it wound up uncomfortably long, so I set it aside for a while. Maybe I should get back to it, at least putting up a skeleton that maps names to faces. Leaving blurbs for later, or even for someone else...

Mike - give me a skeleton and I'll flesh it out ... a little, at least. The rest of yas can contribute AFTER finals and studying and all that crap. Me, I've just got work (if you can call the REU program that) until mid-June, at which point I take calc ii over again ... blah. Bloody integrals. *grumble mumble*
Anyway. Just so as you know.
Good luck, everyone! May Athena guide thy pencil, and Hermes thy steps, until next we meet.

Head shots lifted from various comics would work. I can do written decriptions and backgrounds, but I can't help with the actual construction as I have the HTML skills of a yak.
No, not just a yak. A TIBETEN yak.

Oh, man. *stunned - then begins to laugh* Today's strip is ... interesting. Hermes does know how to play all sides against the middle VERY well. Sad that Athena's so ... innocent, in comparison. Then again, not really.
Anyway. I'll try to come up with something or other for text blurbs (perhaps in the manner of Working Designs, perhaps not) and pictures - or at least, suggestions for what strips to use. *goes through her personal Parthenon hard drive archive for ideas*
Later.

Eh, HTML is easy ... and if pure tags don't work, I have a friend who's good with PHP and such. So I can help code, I guess.
aglauros
