We're really lucky that the online comics community is made up of a smallish group of people who know the rules...like if a Keen site 404's, it will be back later. I still fear the last week's (!) problems may have cost us readers.I did actually get phonecalls from people I'd spoken to about the site who went to check it and couldn't get to it. Those are the people I can least afford to lose...------------------

wow, phone calls, now those are fans! I'd be that much of a fan too btw, if I didn't know that Keen was having problems and that the bill for a phone call to the netherlands would cause my wife to be indicted for murder. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/wink.gif"> ------------------

I was just wondering, Reinder. You have a domain name for ROCR. Why not put up a mirror site to this one somewhere. And when KS is down, redirect your domain to point to that mirror site instead. Oh well. I guess it's too much of a hassle huh?------------------

Well, if I was going to do that I'd probably make the other site the default and the Keenspace site the mirror.
I'm still sort of working on a transfer - at least in the sense that I haven't abandoned the idea, and am still in touch with the potential site host. Problem is, he wants to organise the backend very differently, and I really don't have the brain-time for that.------------------
