Both fine (if disparate) novels.

My novelly-juices are a bit dissipated, as I begin clubbing my creative centers into submission so I can start work again on my risen-again-after-three-days-dead Great American Novel.

Incidentally for Sea Witch readers -- I've decided to hift the idiom slightly into the future. I can write sci-fi much better than military, even though there's a huge overlap.

Currently Reading(as if it matters):

The Princess Bride(original, long, political version)

How to Build a Time Machine

Plant Dyes: Nature's Colors

Quantum Theory Studies
I honestly do enjoy theoretical physics and quantum theory and paradox research.

Out of curiousity is that a new Lackey or an old? I've read so many of her novels at this point I can't remember which I've read without looking at the covers.

Current reads:

Warrior's Bond - Juliet E McKenna
A Light in August - Faulkner (class :razz:)

Always

Old. That's the Magic's Pawn, Magic's Price, etc. series.

Gotcha - I read it in the separate books so I didn't recognize the series title.

Speaking of which, I just finished Gates of Sleep by Mercedes Lackey. (very good retelling of Sleeping Beauty)

I've decided to re-read the L'Engle Time trilogy (I know it's the Time Quartet, but I'm less impressed by Many Waters).

You are right. I was busy with something else at the time I was typing it and the wrong story slipped in.
