So yes, he's used to looking quite different from everyone around him. He thinks he is **~special~** and likes it, but probably thinks human faces are weirder than fish faces.

Thin for a Gnoll, Tharsk has a restless energy that means he is always fiddling with something. White markings on his muzzle and face are due to a deliberate branding. A process using extreme cold burns to turn his fur white, in order to mark him as a skald. Aside from this he resembles a typical gnoll, with large mouth, scruffy red mane and dark brown spots on a tawny hide. His eyes are dark brown and lively, always glancing around.
He wears a loincloth and shabby patches of light leather armour and furs.

He has in his possesion several instruments, a bone harp, drums and a tusk horn. He carries a crude bastard sword and a jagged dagger.

As a gnoll, Tharsk will happily eat carrion and the dead. He has been chased out of towns due to digging up corpses before and as such has learned some restraint. He hates sleeping indoors and has a poor sense of hygine to most humanoid sensibilites. Tharsk is perceptive for a gnoll hiding his natural instincts behind a learned set of pinkskin social graces. He respects power like any pack animal and keenly misses the company of his tribe seeking it in others. He likes to mock others and will do so whenever possible. His teasing jibes are a way of determining a social hierachy and should not be taken too seriously. He posses the racial ability 'butcher's lure' (at will ability equivelent of ghost sound) and will use it to imitate and mock others in their own voices. (aslo useful for recounting stories and tales.)

Background: Tharsk is evasive about his past prefering to tell others stories than his own, if pressed with ale and spirits you might be able to learn that he hails from the north, born into a landscape of ice and snow. A uneasy peace existed between an orc barbarian tribe and a local gnoll pack. Tharsk took to following the barbarian's skald around much to the half orc''s annoyance. She found a use for him playing instruments to accompany her. Finally on her deathbed she declared him worthy of the title of Skald, sending him out into the world to collect tales to bring back to the tribe. After consuming her corpse he set out leaving his pack and tribe behind.

Shortened version of her backstory because I don't like backstories:
Dropped off in a fishing town 200 years ago. Raised by LOVING human fisherman. No one knew WTF she was and no one knew how to recognize her GENDER. Learned FISHING, KNITTING, AND SAILING. Became TOURIST ATTRACTION. On her 200th year she RAN OFF to become a SAILOR but within weeks became a PIRATE instead.

Personality:
Tehks is a soft spoken critter. The life in the village has been a kind and gentle one, and she's been a caring and selfless part of the society. Despite her giant size she tends to underplay herself, going so far as to stoop as she walks in order to make herself seem smaller. Social norms tend to guide her actions, and she' particularly conscious about the importance of humility in society. Despite this, she has grown up around humans and has been constantly reminded of how fragile and shortlived they are. As a result, she's been slowly developing a deeply surpressed, typical draconic ego. Her life has been easy - easy to the point of painfulness and she now has a burning wanderlust dragging her around the world, urging her to find something in life that could actually test her potentials.

Also: though she can hover like her shen lung mother, she prefers to walk in order to not intimidate the humans she's generally surrounded with.

Name: Havon Veslrad
Race: Human
Gender: Male

Class: Dagger Obsessed Rogue

Appearance: ((Art is not my strong suit so a block of text will have to do.))
Havon is a tall lanky human with light tan skin and bright long brown hair which is in a well kept ponytail. He tends to have a smooth charming face provided he is a good mood and the foundations of a goatee cover his chin. He wears a tight leather outfit intended to provide ease of movement which is covered with daggers primarily around his belt.

Personality:To say Havon is obsessed with Daggers is a slight understatement. Not only are they the only weapons he will use his entire body seems to be covered with them, including sheaths connected to his forearms and at least two kept in a hidden compartment in one of his boots. He is very protective of his daggers and doesn't allow anyone else to use them. Some rumors also exist that Havon has stolen daggers he's taken interest in from his own companions and will accept work just to get an unique dagger.
Despite what some would call insanity Havon keeps himself presentable and appears as a kind dashing rogue with a knack for throwing daggers and Acrobatics to those not aware of his...'quirks'. He enjoys life and adventure and does his best to keep a sense of humor during his work.

Background:Havon has lived his entire life within the city of [INSERT TOWN RP TAKES PLACE IN HERE]. Born to a moderate family who own "The Black Barrel" a general store. Havon had a normal childhood and was expected to eventually take over the family business. However at the age of ten a group of thieves broke into the store late in the night and threaten his parents with death should they not unlock the money safe. Hidden from the thieves Havon sneaked up behind the leader, stole his dagger, and back stabbed him, killing him instantly. Havon had saved his family and found his very first dagger which he keeps to this day, he also grew a dislike of thieves due to this. After this event Havon became greatly interested in Daggers and practiced constantly getting training from traveling showmen in Acrobatics and Knife throwing. Daggers became Havon's weapon of choice and he soon started carrying daggers with him at all times including when he slept.

At 18 he began offering his skills to those who would pay, primarily the city guard when they needed someone who had knew the many secrets of the inner city. He worked with a few small adventuring groups also but these were often short term and he rarely made much of a connection with his partners unless he noticed a dagger kept in their belongings.

awesome!! Only things I will say (AND SHIN NEEDS TO CONFIRM/DENY PLS) are that I don't think the town has either a name or a guard! Maybe! It's the only town on the island, if it works better (based on what shin says???) there's the mainland fairly nearby, or whatever. NOT THAT IT MATTERS, we're accepting everyone gogogogo
