Figured we needed one of these now, seeing as the tagboard is no longer there for people to react in.
*Ahem*
That's friggin' hilarious! Go Squirrel!
Edit: on a second reading - that squirrel looks like it could be a weresquirrel or something, although I'm used to those being rather larger.

Yeah I was thinking about making a thread for every storyline for people to make passing comments on in replacement of the tagboard. This works too.
Especially after the negative comment incident I have been very paranoid with this fight being boring so I'm glad it's still entertaining.

Even though this isn't the latest page, I wanted to say something when
this page was posted. You took off your tagboard when it came up and I didn't know where to say it, soo....

I think the current page is overcrowded by detail. We see individual bush leaves and blades of grass, bark patterns on the trees AND the twigs they're fighting with, and that's an awfully scruffy squirrel.
I would suggest leaving out all the fur lines on the squirrel, but doing the coloring as if they were there. And twigs usually don't have as much detail in the bark that a tree trunk would.

That said, the action is pretty awesome.

It's been said before and I'll say it again - that is not a normal squirrel! Whose stick broke I wonder? Eh, guess we'll find out on Monday.

Not a bad point, Megarose. Though your image is broken. For whatever reason Image Shack pics don't work on CG forums.

Huh, strangest thing. It was just a photo of some sticks anyways.

Sorry for not responding to the comments earlier, just get distracted. But I did keep the suggestions in mind, today's page was already inked when I got the comments but I tried fixing it up a bit in Photoshop, hopefully future pages will be more visually coherent.
I go from too little detail to too much! I guess we got to learn somehow.

I don't think that Saya's gonna lose, but I'm wondering...
What's the squirrel going to do if he wins?
I used to have seven voices in my head. Then, Bob killed five. Tim escaped, he's over there. And Eric moved in last week.

Is Eddie crying in that second last panel? It's kinda hard to see. Nice pose in the second panel btw.

It's clear here that he's crying, although strangely a little harder to see on my crisp, bright laptop screen than on my old, darkening CRT.

It's another one of those scenarios where it really depends on what screen or contrast or whatever the computer settings are. It's not very bright simply because tears aren't, they're mostly clear. I tried to keep it as obvious as possible without making it just blue. But really, it just depends how bright you keep your screen.
But yes, Eddie is crying.

In regards to Friday's page:
The last panel wins the award for making Pete laugh when he's having a really bad Friday morning.
In due time, there will be something here. Other than this sentence that is.

Ah! I thought that was a window at first, instead of a painting.
Incidentally, I recently found out (in the commentary under the Director's Cut of the
Narbonic guest strip "
Dave's Blind Date ") that
Derek Kirk Kim has recently moved to Portland. I assume Shaenon means Oregon.

Slowly Oregon will take over webcomics.
Though with Scott Kurts in Texas and Tycho and Gabe is Washington looks like it'll be a while. Here's hoping.
(Also teehee. Saya dress.)

Awww....... <.<...You didn't hear that. (or read it either, got it?)
And since when did Eddie wear glasses?
