Is there a way to make your tags point to a later comic as the first comic rather than the one that's already there without having to move all of the old comics out of /d/?
I'm attempting to restart but I want to keep the old comics somewhere on the site. Do I have to move them all?

You could do an old fashioned hotlinking image.

There is an option in your siteadmin relating to the date of your first comic (though I'm not sure if it works or not).
Beyond that, there's no reason your first comic button has to be generated through autokeen.
