Is that regarding the comic or ghost image? Eh, I'll have to assume the comic, since that's the part that's working.STrRedWolf wrote:Whoops! Second bug. Fixed on 369 comics now.King Jack wrote:Hi.

Again, for me, FTP's working fine, and Siteadmin's back up, but the updater's putting the page in the wrong place.
It ends up in the public_html/ folder instead of public_html/comics/, so all the other pages in public_html/comics/ don't show up archived.
Also, I've been having this problem since day one where my Next Day ghost image isn't showing up. Any idea what the problem there is?

its weird. I changed my password, and nothing worked at all. then I used the password that was sent to me (which didn't work (short one, not long one) and I can log in. I tried changing again, and neither work.
However, I could ONLY log into the site admin. FTP still didn't work. Also, I only have 1 clickable option in Site Admin.

Give it a few days to pop on. I'll recheck the domains.megabyte wrote:I can't log into ftp, siteadmin, or see my site. I was told that I shouldn't be able to see my site yet, being new. But I can't update or anything.

The next ghost image is a bug we inherited from KeenSpot when we were using their engine with the flatfile DB that *shudddddder*King Jack wrote: Is that regarding the comic or ghost image? Eh, I'll have to assume the comic, since that's the part that's working.
Lets just say, flatfile DB is so volitile it goes *BOOM* when you upload it to evil cyborgs.

If you have Zone Alarm, Norton, or any "Privacy Firewall" software, DISABLE OR REMOVE IT. We use cookies on Siteadmin for the login. Also make sure .keenspace.com is allowed to set cookies in those browsers. You do not need to tunnel any ports on your router/NAT box.JordanHighway wrote:I am now unable to login to Siteadmin using the password that was sent to me nor the password I switched it to. The cookie test page works fine, the values change with each reload, and the "disable your firewall 'enhancments'" is something I cannot do since the firewall I use is my router. If there are port numbers I need to unblock please let me know, otherwise the firewall stays up.
FTP via gear.keenspace.com is also not working.
I won't be able to test out members.keenspace.com with my new password (since it takes awhile to update the database from what the password changer page said), but I tried to login with the password emailed to me and it couldn't log in either.

DNS has been rebuilt. If you comic doesn't resolve now, it should tomorrow when we refresh DNS. I'll try to get a "refresh it now" put in, but it's up to Nate and Gav now.

On my 2 windows boxes I am running the standard, built in Windows Firewall (and turning that off would be a no-no). IE is the latest, and I have it set to accept all cookies, especially allowing keenspace.com and .keenspace.com. On my PowerMac I have a total of zero firewall privacy software programs running, cookies are all set up correctly (this forum keeps track of me fine, as well as all other forums and sites that use cookies). But the mac also has problems logging in.
I WAS able to log in once today, and I was able to log in a few days ago.
I don't think it is a problem on my end since I "was" able to connect 2 or 3 times, add to that that it happens on any computer i use, including my friends computer. I have tried logging in on my DSL at work, my dial-up at home and my friends AOL dialup.
For some reason it only seemed to stop letting me log in when I changed my password. Would you be able to reset my password again (sorry) so I can see if that helps anything?

Disable Windows Firewall. Your router/NAT box is taking care of that already. I built my own here, so I know what goes on in it.JordanHighway wrote: username: mysticlandepic

also, when I change my password, I get 2 emails about it, one right away, the other an hour or so later, and each one has a different activation code.
Just tried to login to the siteadmin from my home computer (Windows XP Pro + Dialup Internet) with the Windows Standard Firewall turned off, and still nothing.

UPDATE
I have successfully logged in with my changed password and I get all of the controls I should get. AUthor is visiable as well. AND my windows firewall is still up. Only worked with IE, Firefox still won't log in (and the cookie test does in fact work)
Subdomain still doesn't work, but I will give that a few days.
FTP is also working for me. won't be able to log in via third party software until the domain is fully working

Last time it was missing on the other comic (theelven). Also, my domain is missing (risky.theelven.com). Please fix my authoritah. I'm honestly working on fanart.
