SOME HELP HERE?

Post by Roxy »

Hiyee! My name's Roxanne de Winter, and I'm the organizer and artist behind Ikiryoh. I joined a few weeks ago, and I've feverishly been reading tutorials. FEVERISHLY. I found my FTP page, put my dated comic files into the "images" page of the WORKPLACE, yet they still don't appear. I've been trying to update my comic for some time now, but it keeps showing only the coverpage. Any idea how to fix this?
Besides that, what's a tag? I don't quite get how to edit the look of my page. Yes, I read the tutorial on that, but I'm none the wiser.
Could anyone help me?
Thanks for taking your time to read this (^_^).
CHOW! And don't touch the sushi.

XOXOXO,
Roxanne

A tag is simply a code that allows the automation process make changing your pages a lot easier. For example, you have a ***todays_comics*** tag on your page. When your site is uploaded to the server, that tag is changed into the HTML code that displays the image you have for your latest comic. Every time a new comic is uploaded, a new index page is created for that comic, so the comic on your front page is always the latest. The tag keeps you from having to manually input the name of the comic file every time you want to upload a new page. The other tags work in similar ways.

Make sure you logged in after you uploaded all your things and went to "Manual Update ____________ Comics". Once you choose your option and submit your update, it should show up in a little bit, depending on the queue line.

My comic usually only updates once I prod at it there. >=3
