Current functional comment system?

Hi,
I'm looking for a good reliable commenting system for my comic.
I searched the forums and learned about "Haloscan", but it seems to be closed for new users (last post on this is from a couple of years ago).
Sorry if this is an existing discussion - I couldn't find any recent information or thread on this.

Curently I use Shoutbox, as you can see here:

It is great, but it doesn't seem to allow for individual comment boxes, one for each comic/html, which I'd really like to have.

Could anyone recomend an alternative system, or some other solution for this?

There is a whooole thread devoted to this topic that should be a few posts below this one in the help forum. The thread is titled something like "meshing DISQUS with auto update" or something of that nature. Wordy thread but pretty thorough and should give you what you're looking for.

Awesome! I'm glad it's working for you! Sorry I didn't link to the thread when I posted, I was using my dad's iPad and could not fathom how to do such a thing
