Image Linking

Post by Sphix »

Heya, all, I'm doing a redesign of my comic's website and I was wondering if there was a way, through CG's auto-updating system, to embed a link to the next comic in the image of the comic itself? I've tried every way I can think of to do this, but ***next_day*** creates both the image AND the link to the next comic in the HTML, so... yeah. Any ideas? Thanks a million.

I don't think there's a Keentag to do that, but what you could do is create a file called "YYYYMMDD.html" (with appropriate date) and in it have a link to the next comic. However, you would have to originally have the link as void, and when you plan to have a new comic, you would have to go to that old one and change the link to the date of the new comic. It be a bit more manual updating than you'd prefer I'm guessing, but sounds like it would work.

No, there isn't a way to do that on the CG system.

You'd need to manually update if you wanted to do that.
