New comics not showing up
Hi all, I'm pretty new to this whole deal so bear with me, please! My comic http://dourhill.comicgenesis.com/ appears to have a problem; for each day it updates it makes a new page and everything, but for some reason the new comic isn't showing up. It worked on the first day, but I must be doing something wrong for the others. I made sure the files were named in the appropriate manner (YYYYMMDD) and the ***todays_comics*** is in the html file. Now, I'd be the first to admit that I'm pretty much web-design illiterate, but when I look at the source info for my pages that aren't showing the comics the width and height for the image read 0, and I think that might be a problem, but I don't know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

What software do you use to make your images? If it's InkScape, there is a setting you need to change in order to make it show up.
Your banner has the < h1 > tags around it - you can remove them, they don't do anything for non-text elements.
As to how to make your images show up... it's odd that you're getting a 0x0 size. If it was the anti-hotlinking kicking in, it would reduce them to 1x1, not 0x0. I haven't seen that one before. My gut reaction would be to delete the current images in the public_html/comics folder, the html files in the public_html/d folder and re-upload all your comics to the workspace/comics folder. Then go to SiteAdmin and trigger a full update.
That ought to work, if it doesn't, post again and we'll have another look.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 for my images.
Okay, I followed your instructions and the comics still don't appear to be showing up.

What format are the files, out of curiosity?

0x0 usually means the files are not a jpeg png or gif.

The files for my comics are all jpegs. I guess I should try the other extensions and see if those make a difference.

Just check your settings and make sure you aren't using any fancy export options.
Best bet is usually "Save for Web" with the default jpeg settings.
