Can't see my own posts...
Well, as the title says, I can't see my own posts... I can see them if I go into the control panel and click on "view my posts" or whatever, but once I jump to a thread, my posts just aren't there...
Help?

Me too.
I've cleared my cache and cleared my cookies, and tried both Firefox and IETabs inside Firefox.
It also doesn't seem to matter whether I'm logged in or not.

Post Temporary Solution
There's a quick fix for this. Go to your User Control Panel and open the "Board preferences" tab. Select "Yes" where it says "Hide my online status". Submit the changes and the next time you log on, you should be able to see your posts.
I assume this is a problem with changes made to phpBB 3. When you show your online status, it displays a small banner above your avatar saying you're online. The admins switched the avatars from being displayed on the right to the left side of the posts, and that might have broken how online status is shown. But that's just speculation on my part.

I just tried it, and it seems to work. I then switched my hide status back to off, and logged in again, and everything seems to stay visible.

Still Hidden . . .
For some reason, that doesn't work for me. Every time I set my online status to on, log out and then log back in, my posts disappear. Ah well. No one needs to know when I'm on the forum.RevChris77 wrote:I just tried it, and it seems to work. It seems to work for some users, and not for others. After I toggled the status switch, I could see the ones I couldn't see before, but now I can't see some of the people I originally could.
One of the other threads I was looking at says

its a f*cking SQL error
we had one of these on the board I was helping develop...
the posts and last posted is getting updated
but the threads table isn't
Re: Can't see my own posts...
I have the same issue, just for reference. I will try changing my online status and see what happens.

It also seems that you have to leave your status set to hidden or things keep going away.
