Multiple Banners/Pogs [solved]

In the CG SiteAdmin there's a section to upload your pogs, banners and newsboxes. Occasionally I like to update my promotional gear to have better art and designs showing. However, every time I upload a banner or pog, the old ones stay. This makes, for instance, three different banners show on The Guide at various times. Is there any way to get only one banner, one pog or one newsbox to be approved at once or to get old ones deleted?

As far as I know, you're only meant to have one of each at any given time. But there is no system in place to manage your own promotional stuff.

For instance, I think that it would be good if all the promotional gear that was approved stayed on your account and you could just set which one was "the one" that gets displayed.

I think that you need to pm someone about those, but I can't recall who that is... sorry.

The reason you can't delete your own stuff is because the security sandbox won't allow it. I may fix this at some point.

Generally only the GTC can remove promotional data, since when they delete it, it DELETE's it, gone, permenent.

If you upload the same filename twice, it overwrites the original filename, and makes it impossible to delete. The best bet is to contact one of the GTC crew and just have them delete one or all.

Keep in mind that any new promo stuff is subject to review. Only the guide banners are not actively reviewed, though they can be deleted by GTC too.

In other words, if I wanted to upload new promo material to replace my old stuff, all I'd have to do is avoid giving it the same name as my last material? Or is the doubling problem some anomalous thing that just randomly happens sometimes, and not others?
