Lost your ftp password?
http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com:8080/ ... ssword.cgi
Put in your comic name, the new password that you want under 'custom password' and then repeat in the 'confirm' box, click submit.
It'll send an email to the address you first registered with.
If that email isn't working or you don't have access to it, you're out of luck.
And by "blog thingy", do you mean a little box with stuff on the index? There is a couple of ways of doing it, but I recommend this method:
The bit that says "Your browser does not support iFrames" isn't important, but whatever you put between the <iframe> and </iframe> will show up if the reader's browser doesn't know how to use iFrames. Unlikely, but possible.
Play around with the width and and height until you are happy with it. There are a couple of other options as well, run a search for "iframe tutorial" and you'll learn a lot more about them.
Last and most important part: blog.html will be a seperate file that you can update directly. That means that if you want to say something, you can connect to your site, upload the new blog.html file and that's it. Because you're uploading it directly to the public_html side, it'll be visable straight away without needing to run an update.
Any more questions? Feel free to ask.

How it works: put the iFrame code in the spot that you want the blog-box thingy to appear. Create a new html file with the stuff you want to appear, or a text file. Let's call that file blog.html and put it in the same folder as your index.html file (note: this will go in the public_html folder, not the workspace folder. You'll see why in a moment).<iframe width=set your width here, in pixels height=set your height here, in pixels src="put url here">Your browser does not support iFrames</iframe>
