authentication error?

I have tried smart ftp, filezilla, and ws_ftp and all of them give me an authentication error when trying to log on to my site. It seems to be connected to my password but I know it's right and I've changed it to be sure. Could the comicgenesis server be having a problem ? If this has happened to anyone else or something similar let me hear your story or advice it may help. Thanks.

Could you connect to your account in the past, or have you never been able to connect?

When was your account activated?

Go to http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com and try to add your comic to your siteadmin profile. Does it work or does it reject your password too?

Please remember your FTP password and forum password are different.

I tried the original password given to me by comicgenesis and then the new password I created and then when those two failed I tried my forums password and all received an incorrect password from the siteadmin.

Again, when was your account activated? It may take a few more days for you to be able to connect to your account. Also, what is your CG username or comic address?

From another thread: username is leapingwizards, comic url is http://leapingwizards.comicgenesis.com , account activated on January 21st.

Ok, the page is available but the comic doesn't show up. Did it use to show up or is it a new problem? Also, note the password/username is case sensitive.

ETA: One thing I forgot to ask... At which address do you try to connect to?

I use the leapingwizards address and I've never been able to see the picture. It was something I was going to look into once I started building my page on a FTP server. I left my information on another thread for others to try logging on with and hopefully provide some answers. By the way thanks for all the help so far it's nice to be part of an online community that comes together to help one another.

I've deleted the information in the other thread. You should never provide your password to anyone. If worst comes to worst, admins can access your account without this info.
