"I don't owe you!"

Exactly. You accomplish their purposes, rabbit, all unknowing in your head full of passion and blood. Whatever they ask, you do not disappoint. Your friends take care of you, also unknowing in their fear and need, keeping you healthy and strong to protect them from themselves. Whatever is claimed, d...

Thomas Becoming is on hold, being rewritten in the back of my head. I decided that some of it needed more realism, or at least a closer correlation to Lacunae's atmosphere. Also, it's waiting on stuff that I haven't got, for at least the next three to five episodes: Details of culture, terrain, crea...

Anticipation

I get the idea that this arc may take a few weeks to really pick up.
But so far, I'm eager to see it.

The problem, though, is with those people who don't quite grasp that the window can be scrolled sideways to view the stuff disappearing off that edge. This is despite the horizontal scrollbar that wasn't present before the page loaded, and the fact that the content seems to be cut off at the edge of...

It may not have been expected, but as long as the story gets told effectively, I don't mind much.

And now we have a new, new bulletin board to complain about. Dammit, what was broken with the old one? And why do I have to download a 650K table of forums listed in apparently purely random order, when I log in?

Bleah.

I was told that multiple infections tend to cause problems. Imagine a creature that doesn't need to eat, but can not communicate well or at all verbally, telepathically, or visually. It has MICR fingerprints for easy identification, but not the enhanced processing power or recall of active MLC encod...
