It's wonderful that the site is all working again and what not, but here I am with three flipping pages done and NO WAT TO UPDATE THE SITE!!! THere's n...

I have the same error message. Is this error applicable to everyone or is it only a few select comics? And if it's only a few, is there a way to fix it so our comics can update again?

a whole slew of problems!

Well, apparently lots of things went wrong when keenspace attempted to change servers. As of now the comic is back online, but my ftp space is dead, and I can't udpate the comic, even though the next two pages are done. Looks like we'll have to just wait out the storm and trust that the keenspace ad...

Homework and swords

In the past two days I've been assigned to make a 64 page visual art journal, with 64 seperate spontaneous page layouts, a 15 page full color media journal using different media to create 15 different images based on different categories, 3 half sized poster layouts for an 11x17 poster, a list of 25...

wow, such hatred I can feel seething from you, opaj!! from all the material I've read about 1600's feudal japan, Shogun seems to be very accurate culturally. I'm well aware the events and characters are fictional, since the book should be taking place around the time of the rise of Nobunaga, but it'...

oi, Originally Yori's nickname was eventually going to be Bathhousea, which would be a parody of Himura Kenshin's nickname of Battousai. But we've decided to change that, since after starting this project we came to the conclusion that NNFB would be less a parody of other chinese and japanese movies...

To answer opaj's upside down sheath question, yes, it is true that in the earllier images of Yori, he's wearing his sword incorrectly, even treating the blade disrespectfully. In the later comics I've made sure he treats his sword as lovingly as a samurai should (aside from the sholw shattering it t...

best samurai show EVER!

Today one of my "business partners" in advertising and graphic design asked me what kind of stuff I like, since he seems to think I hate pretty much everything. He misinterpreted that, I actually think everything's stupid in one way or another, but I don't necessarily hate everything, although I do ...

I am the SUPREME NINJA!! Homework must DIE!! SHINAI!!

Well, I'm all excited about that next update, since it concludes the Ken fight, and thus is swifty. Unfortunately, I'm also flipping swammped with annoying homework that is RUINING my very existence in this temporal plain. Now, I know what you're thinking, "How many temporal plains can I possibly ex...

Now THAT'S a big sword!

Ok, so Ken finally pulls out THE SWORD. If people are observant they'll notice that the sword has just grown a great deal in size. Why is that? does the wrapping make it appear smaller because it has horizontal stripes (those strap things)? ANYway, expect a severe lack of consistency in sword size v...

ok, the next comic is drawn. I'm not gonna even bother inking it, I'll just put a layer of color over the pencil sketches and hope it looks as cool as I think it will. ANYway, the next comic should DEFINITELY be up some time this week, so if you're thinking of commiting seppuku because there have be...

I appreciate your concern. but right now NNFB can't update as regularly as I'd hoped it would due to the LUDICROUS AMOUNT OF FRIGGING HOMEWORK I'm getting. I do'nt even have time to draw a pencil comic! it really is insane and if things to even out a bit by next week I may just have to go with a one...
