Re: Tablet pen grip - creative solutions?

I mostly use pencil and write very lightly. I guess you have to try one of these last generation tablets to believe, barely touching the surface makes an unpleasant scratching sound. Praise the polymers for thick punched pockets... but it looks silly, like an unboxed action figure.

Re: Tablet pen grip - creative solutions?

Hah, might be it, my hands are not very artistic  I don't know about older models but the newer ones like bamboo3 and intuos4 are said to have a lot rougher surface. It would seem more logical to include some protective pad to give users a choice. Otherwise it seems like they want me to buy ni...

I sometimes download other artists' brush sets but always end up with standard round.

Re: Tablet pen grip - creative solutions?

I got a bamboo3 recently and the nib started wearing out after one day on that stupid paper-like surface. What were they thinking? I had to pack it in some slippery foil and it stopped. Anyone else had this problem? or am just I squeezing too hard

I have all this energy to draw and I'm wasting it on Skyrim fanart instead of tending my own creation :-?

Re: Doodles 12: Just like clockwork.

You're kidding, right?! That was a completely piss-ant effort that took no time at all to do! And you guys are saying I should actually keep it??? MAN, I NEVER saw that one coming! Story of my life on dA  But that's the point; The comic is pure traditional art, hand-lettered so with the title ...

I second that! Represents the feel of the comic nicely

Look for any vicious behavior, they might be sock vipers too! Or at least one sock viper and its shed skin.

Re: Doodles 12: Just like clockwork.

I imagined simple slightly crooked pen lines (Beavis & Butthead feel). Real brick pattern could work if it made the background for the entire page and in a neutral color like sand or gray with low contrast.

If you're aiming for a graffiti look, maybe replace the tiles with hand drawn bricks. I'd also place a bunny kilroy next to your name, might look cute.

The Red Guy from Cow and Chicken was always my number one. I can't get enough of his crossdressing, buttwalking and disturbing moaning. I also love Etno from Space Goofs, his voice (Maurice LaMarche) just makes me swoon.

Today I answered the phone and got insulted and falsely accused of offending someone and their mother. The hysterical bitch yelled louder whenever I tried to ask WTF and then hung up. Who else loves this sort of people? :-?

Re: Our animal friends

but I always thought you were a rabbit... I am, but I can still keep lesser-evolved versions as pets, can't I? I mean, what about people keeping monkeys as pets? Right, you had me worried for a moment there :) Though the image of a human with a monkey is less awesome than a rabbit carrying a rabbit.
