What sunday comics have the best, most realistic art? Soap opera strips. Apartment 3G, Rex Morgan MD, all that hooey, probably has far better art than most of the stuff on the paper (especially compared to, say, Dilbert, or Rhymes with Orange, or something like that). The strips are, however, boring...

Yes, inking is good. Nobody's perfect, using a pencil drawing is like turning in your rough draft as you final paper. If you're really good, you can sometimes pull it off, but for the vast majority of us, you'll miss a whole lot of little mistakes that way (at the least). I'd recommend seeking out a...

March 3rd will be 1 year for me... I... might have a 100 strips by then. I'm really close. And to think, when I first started, I updated daily. 60 or so strips in the first 2 months. Man is it ever hard to keep that pace up, though. I miss being able to do it, though...

I think you should do your comic in a different medium. The messy pencil-ish drawing are a huge turn off to me. That alone made me not want to read the comic, so I have no idea if the rest of it is any good or not. If you're gonna use a pencil, try to at least make it look cleaner. You are using a b...

Yeah, the coloring and effects in Cup of Suffering have always been enviously cool. I wish I could do stuff that good. Makes you wonder how long he's actually be at this whole "art" thing.

That knights of the dinner table is kinda funny, but that hand drawn sprite thing was sunday-paper quality humour. Not the sort of thing I had in mind.

Could be done with a Nintendo 64, though. Wouldn't have great character like Dr. Mario or Pichu, but the comic well that is Jigglypuff would probably never run dry.

a hand-drawn sprite comic? that sounds funny. I've always thought a good comic concept would be one based on the characters in Super Smash Bros Melee. Only it could be hand drawn.... Or copied and pasted from an emulator, I guess.

I drew a bunch of big elaborate logos and graphics on the marker board for the various consoles in the electronics dept at the Toys R Us in Lexington, including a pretty decent Mario, Link, and Samus on the Gamecube board. Thanks to one annoying Microsoft fanatic who works in the "R zone", nobody el...

Don't worry, the page with your picture will link back to your site, so it's really not neccessary to put the link on there. Unless you're afraid of someone stealing the pictures or something, in which case, by all means, do whatever you feel is neccessary, but I'll be sure to give everybody the lin...

yeah, my hotmail is pretty clear for now, so go ahead and send it, provided it's not, like, a meg in size or something. And if it is, well... find a way to compress that puppy. Bryan probably does have some pictures that I don't, actually... I should try and get them from him as soon as I can. That ...
