Seems that lots of comics are hitting the one year mark this week/month.

We are as well. I guess a lot of people started their comic around this time last year. Interesting to see a lot of the other ones that did are no longer around. So congrats to those that are.

Heh my problem isn't too many ideas...its having ideas for stuff that I'm not currently working on.

I'll be trying to write comics for our current storyline and instead of coming up with something for them I'll come up with something I'd like to do far far in the future.

I am also starting to do some guest strips so that should increase exposure. Yep it should, guest strips and fanart are a good way for people not on the inside track to get hits. I usually plug people that send us fanart but sometimes I'm too lazy so I just post it on our fanart page and forget abo...

Are we talking "hits" or visits? On keenspace visits are all that matters.

I know I was personally talking about visits but I think most people are still confused by the hits/visits thing. Plus the hits number looks a lot more appealing.

Could also be that I read so many comics as it is and don't usually have time to go through the archives of new ones, especially if they've been around for a while.

Inspiration is a fickle mistress...it comes and goes at its own whim. I try about everything to force inspiration when I'm trying to write the next script. In the end inspiration just hits at inopportune moments.

So I don't know what inspires me....maybe I should have thought about this more...

nah I don't think you're getting stale or old at all yet. i still thoroughly enjoy your comic and its sense of originality. I know that narrative coherency is not your main goal, but ye gods! That's really the only problem I've ever had with your comic as well. Sometimes its just too hard to follow ...
