At first, I kept refreshing the page, thinking the image wasn't loading properly. Suppose the spider gag in the announcements had put me off my guard towards April Fool's jokes. Good one, BoxJam. (Though not nearly as frightening as discovering that a page devoted to classic Warner Bros. cartoons ha...

As an acquaintance put it upon seeing yesterday's strip, "Hooray for taking over the world in alphabetical order!" I got a kick out of "More of BoxJammia" yesterday, but nice to see the theme continued today. Looks like the makings of a mini-saga! Nice use of perspective today. And any reference to ...

Well, they removed the stitches from my elbow and above my eyebrow, and the staples from my left leg and hip, so at least I no longer have anything sticking in me! So in short, "Mungo!" And thanks for asking.

First off, the "Mutiny.gif" panel was probably my favourite from today's strip. More importantly, there's finally some attempt at closure for "Diabolica!" Approximately 8 months later, perhaps, but it's there! "Embalmbed Body of Albion Bratt" was probably the best gag therein. Also nice to finally i...

Pony! Nothing like references to ponies to liven up a given strip. The vivid pink for the toy boxes was quite striking. The entire scenario was also something I could relate to slightly, from the period when the aged parents and I were buying Fisher-Price Dollhouse figures and accessories to send to...

With cheese! Recovering from a recent serious accident, the doodle manages to restore me somehow, with the essential charm, the absurdly amusing concept, and the fact that cheese dominated my lunch. The familiar blue hues, even when imbued with outside color, are refreshingly comforting. Today's doo...

And another appearance by the Orange Guy, and even the Bug Jumpy Guy as well! Quite a corker, BoxJam! Suspect it probably won't rint out very well, sadly, but may very well try it anyway. <P>No romantic plans for myself (having absolutely nobody to be romantic with), but I believe some of the wolver...

Actually, I thought this was a rather poignant Doodle myself. Perhaps I was misinterpreting it, but it reminded me of the sort of shelves or cabinets sold and used to house children's blankets or toys or pillows (the "Little Tykes" one we had now houses dust and stray video cassettes, with the TV on...

Today's Doodle reminded me of how I felt when I discovered, around 1996, that Richard Scarry of Busytown fame had died in 1994. I loved those books. While this may not have been the intention, today's strip seemed to be an amusingly poignant commentary on the temporality of existence, the brevity of...
