Um, this was supposed to be fixed. It was originally put up because the server's hard drive was full and such, but it was quickly decided that applications would continue to be accepted and be allowed to pile up, as usual

About using an IP instead of a name: that won't work because KeenSpace uses virtual hosting. In theory if you felt like rolling your own HTTP headers it could be done, but I doubt anyone feels like doing that As for the FTP and updating issues: the permissions on the new server (schlock) seem to be ...

It appears that the new password utility has been eaten, sending out the appropiate search parties to find out what happened

There's a major server move underway right now, things are rather unstable as a result. Updates should occur at midnight and/or your update time

The weekly stuff is part of KeenSpace Premium (I think that's the right name), where readers can pay some money and get some extra features, like no ads and weekly instead of daily pages. You have to do some extra set up stuff for the weekly pages to work and then they'll only work for people who've...

Connect to siteadmin.keenspace.com for now, if that doesn't work then schlockadmin.keenspace.com should. Your page may be unviwaable (with browser) but that should be fixed soon as well as the FTP problem

Strange ... open the copy on your computer and see if it's transparent. If it is, then try resaving or stripping out chunks using pngcrush or something. If it isn't, then delete the copy in public_html/comics/ and re-upload it

Well, you must now beg and make sacrifices to admins for them to restore the magical syminks you destroyed but cannot recreate yourself. Send all applicable animal carcasses to help@keenspace.com with a clear subject (like "missing symlinks"). If you're lucky, an admin will read this thread and take...
