Until fairly recently, I'd been using 8.5*11 paper divided on the long axis into four rows. Then I got ahold of a 11*14 pad, and started using it, divided on the long axis into four rows. Couldn't scan the whole thing in one go, but I could cut & paste. However, my actual scanner is is about 8.5*11...
