Comic Drawing Stream: Saturday from 4-8
Hey guys. Long time no see. On Saturday I'll have a stream up with me taking requests on comics and chatting with you guys. My posted time will be from 4 to 8 PM, but it may go longer if I so choose. Who can come?

Re: Livejournal-style Whining Thread 2.0
My herniated disc hurts again and my hip is messed up, so I have to stop working out for a while again. Also, the Blackhawks got killed by the Capitals today 6-2. Oh well, it's just preseason and Chicago is experimenting with line combinations and several AHL players to see who will make the final ...

Re: Livejournal-style Whining Thread 2.0
Well, I just can't seem to find a job anywhere - specially now that I desperately need one and have recently applied to so many retails (like EB Games). Same here. I have about $700 in bank accounts, but I still want to get a job so I can get people Christmas gifts (can't start too early), pay peop...

Re: Livejournal-style Whining Thread 2.0
Speaking of, I'm really cheesed that all new students has to take a College 101 class. I'd be more understandable if it were a seminar, but no. It's a freaking class. Honestly, I knew exactly what to expect and what my responsibilities were the very first week. I'm not stupid. I wanted to be treated...

Comedy Silver!
Hey guys. Remember me? Of course you don't. :P But for the past month and a half, I've been working on getting my small comic site. SiteAdmin's still down, from what I understand, so I had to resort to using my free Comcast Personal Web Page to make a site until SiteAdmin's fixed or another comic ho...

Re: Livejournal-style Whining Thread 2.0
From my actual LJ (since I recently set my journal friends only): LAN 101 crap DONE! Now I can start focusing on my four other classes for this term, which will soon level down to three. I just hope I did a good job on all three assignments, and I manage to wake up early enough Friday for the 2nd an...

Re: I almost died today
I must be lucky. I never was in situations where my life was on the line. I was hurt, but nothing life threatening. Kind of like the time I fell head first into a brick wall. That hurt and as a sixth grader it was pretty much okay for me to cry.

And I can see that. Sometimes chocolate mix won't mix for me, so there's always that deposit of mix at the bottom of the cup. Would be very tasty if weren't for the fact that I can't reach it. :|

Re: When you improve but feel like you regress
Kinda sorta. Sometimes when I'm working on a comic, I'll wonder if I'm getting any better at all, if not worse.

In all honesty, I don't know. The best idea I can come up with is passively advertising the site and the forums on other forums in hopes of getting new memvers.McDuffies wrote:No, the guy before you.VeryCuddlyCornpone wrote:Me?

Now that you guys mention it, this forum's pretty dead. Not dead dead, but nothing really happens. There's the LJ whining thread, intro thread, and that's about it. :-\

I start my certificate program in about two weeks so I can become a computer technician.
To be frank, I need to fix someone's computer. It's an itch I need to scratch!

Honestly, I don't know what to say. I don't want to say it's bad, but there was a certain lack of something. The story was indeed interesting, though, so it can't be that.

Re: Be mad about change here
A furry subforum would be desolate except for JIm posting Sally Acorn drawings every day. an art forum in general may be a more reasonable direction to look in, however, which covers a more broader range of topics, like the doodles thread, Jams, even music threads. this may also lend to constructiv...

Re: Hand lettering vs. Fonts
Unless there are very extreme circumstances in which I have to use a font, (like achieving a certain style or I need to put a lot of words in a small space), I'll use fonts, but otherwise I will handwrite everything. It actually makes a comic a bit more like yours for there to be handwriting in most...

Re: What's your excuse
There's one special comic I want to finish, but can't because two of the panels are animated for effect. Essentially, video clips of monster attacks, and the only way I've figured out how to actually get these clips into the comic is to basically copy-paste the actual frames I want to use, save each...
