Re: Can't log in to FTP server
How do we set it to 66.220.2.20? I use Cyberduck as an FTP, and it just has me type in a URL and a user name, so I'm syncing to ftp://moonfreight3@moonfreight3.comicgenesis.com. I've never had a problem with Cyberduck automatically doing that until now.

Re: Can't log in to FTP server
I tried refreshing the SiteAdmin page like Cope suggested, but it keeps bouncing back and forth between two errors. I was able to connect to my FTP last night and this morning, although there have been moments where it has been unable to connect. Suffice it to say, my comic has not updated today.

Re: Getting rid of a comic
Looks like the problem resolved itself. Must have been a temporary glitch. Thanks anyway, though.

Getting rid of a comic
I needed to get rid of a comic that posted incorrectly, so I deleted the comic from the "public_html/comics" file and the corresponding HTML from "public_html/d." However, when I scroll back and forth through the archives, an error page comes up when trying to click from the comic before and after w...

Re: Comics Not Updating - Something is clearly wrong
The comic starts to appear on the screen, but it appears my page is having loading issues, so all it shows is the word "comic" where the comic should be. The ComicGenesis newsbox isn't showing up, either, and neither are any of CG's ads, if that information helps.

Re: Referral Links?
I get a few from my comic's LJ group, a few from Project Wonderful ads, some from Twitter, and a few from various forums I'm on. I rarely get them from sites that I'm not actively promoting the comic on, but sometimes I get surprised.

From people I DON'T know? It's only happened once, when they sent me an e-mail. But people I do know but haven't seen in a very long time do comment on a semi-regular basis on my Twitter feed.

Re: who here can advise me on FLASHBACKS?
You can even do something as simple as drawing triangles overlapping the corners of your panels to make it look like a photograph in an album. "Funky Winkerbean" uses this trick fairly well.

Newsbox replacement question [Solved]
I want to replace the image I currently have uploaded for the CG newsbox with a newer, nicer image. I know I have to upload the new one for approval, but how do I get rid of the old one? Or does it get deleted automatically when a new one is uploaded?

And all the stuff that was supposed to go up during the outage but didn't will also go up? They'll be in the archives? I won't have to load those manually? Not just the stuff that's been on the site since the beginning? They should. They'll be in the archives if they do. You shouldn't have to load ...

Re: general or partial CG server outage? WANTED: server status
I have comics uploaded through next week. In the event that the issue isn't fixed by the end of today (since today is the first day one of my comics hasn't uploaded), will I have to go back after the problem is fixed and upload all the comics for days it missed? Will I have to re-upload my comics wi...

I waited about a month to tell my friends and started spreading the word elsewhere by the time I passed strip 30.

Really? That's odd. I've been saving and uploading them all the exact same way since the beginning. I'll have to check it out. Thanks.
