Okay, thank you!Dr Neo Lao wrote:The "proper" way to do it is to notify the newsbox committee and provide them with the name of both the old image and the new image so that it could be updated. I'm not sure who is on the committee now or who to contact for assistance.

Changing one's Newsbox
Hi all, I was just wondering how one went about changing one's newsbox. I created an image for my comic almost two years ago, and I'd like to replace it. I uploaded a second news box image to the SiteAdmin, but it's been sitting there for several months. Anything I should be doing? Much obliged, Nika

Re: What is your production time?
Generally 2 hours per page, and I try to update every day Mondays-Fridays. Ah the joys of summer.
Of course, it can take longer/shorter depending on the particular page. Background haters, anyone? Not that I don't do them anyway, every painstaking detail... ><

Re: What's your excuse
Trying to remember the questions... O.o A) I don't get things done on time because I naturally rebel against settling into routine. Strange, eh? B) I don't fix my art (although I have in the past) because I'm trying to get through the story. I have this really ambitious story in mind, and if I don't...

Re: How long did you wait to "pimp" your comic?
I think it should depend on the story--if your comic consistents of gag strips that can more or less stand independently, then I don't think the limit needs to be that high. I do think the more ambitious stories should at least show the discipline of being able to get out at least 20 pages or so, be...

Re: Do your characters look like blood relations?
I hope not! Although I call my comic a manga, it's really more of a hybrid for precisely that reason. I think in some cases, artists want their characters to look similar, but they tend to be the exception. If my characters ever look blood-related, it's because I'm still refining my skill as an arti...

Images not updating on IE [Solved]
Hi everyone--hope you can help me with this bizarre problem! I wanted to replace both the "cover" image and my webpage banner, so I went to the CG FTP, deleted the old images from the public/images folder, and then re-uploaded the new images into that same folder. I've found that that the new images...

Re: Something interestingly new in ways of presenting webcomics
I agree with previous comments that the format of the hovertext impacts my opinion. Maybe if the hovertext appeared as a speech bubble, with the right fonts. I also agree that this particular kind of hovertext works well with Hero, which reads more like a story. But if there were to be live dialogue...

Re: RSS
I'm not at all an expert, but what I do know is that ComicGenesis automatically provides you with a feed. In order words, you don't need to set anything up. People who are feed-savvy will visit your comic page, look to see if there's a feed available (the feed icon in the toolbar will light up), and...

I just tried to set up Google Analytics, but I had two different options for codes, the New Tracking Code and the Legacy Tracking Code. What's the difference? Which one should I use?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Nice comic. The art works great with the humor, which you handle better than most out there... I like the mixture of one-page gags and running adventures. Congratulations on your 3rd anniversary!

Re: Psychic Soldier Kai (feedback appreciated)
haha what a cliffhanger to end on! Anyway, it's looking good. I like your style; I think your story actually gets more out of the gray tones than if it were colored. My only issue was with the car crash; I think for an event like that, you need more frames in order to build up the tension and the im...

Re: My Geeky Comic
Cute! Each comic could almost be an animation. You have a nice style and some of your comics are pretty funny. The only thing that worries me is your layout; depending on how many comics you're going to have in total, it can get a little sloppy to have them all on one page.

Re: Now I've done it... a strip
hmm well feeling lazy, so this is going to be short. Your comic has a lot of potential; I would suggest for the future that you ink your comics. Whether you add color or not is your choice. What I would expect in this comic, from just looking at one strip are: running gags, contradictory personaliti...

Re: Looking for your criticism
Some good work there; your cartoons are funny and you have a well-developed style. My only suggestion is that you do a little more to distinguish the various objects; I lost your people amidst all the other lines. Cross-hatching, cell-shading--whatever works

Re: Comic Layout - Need Help
I learned how to lay out my comic from reading lots and lots of manga--and I still have trouble ^^ A good general rule is that your frames should be proportionate to the importance of whatever's drawn in them. You might want to give a really important moment, for example, an entire page. That's why ...
