Re: Questions about Lulu

I've been using Lulu to publish my novels for two years or more now, and I've always been very satisfied with them. While I realize that novels and comics are two entirely different creatures, I would imagine that it's about the same deal -- the only mistakes in formatting or content are the ones th...

Re: Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

I don't know about katanas. For people who know how to use them, wahey, go for it. But for the untrained, sure, they can swing for the neck, but if they miss totally, the strength in the swing needed to sever a head would make em still rotate uncontroably, and suddenly they have their whole back ex...

Re: Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

My mom always says that there's no use doing something if you just have to go back and clean it up later. A katana cutting power isn't limited to shallow cuts -- it's design makes it much more effective at severing joints, and the spinal collumn doesn't stand much chance against it. Hamstringing a z...

Re: Return of the happy thread.

I drew and colored the last two comics that will go up in March, and they actually look good, in opposition to what will be updating for the next week which looks less good. And I wrote 5 pages in my book last night, which makes me happy because I haven't been able to write anything since December! ...

Re: Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

IMHO, nothing beats the combination of a .22 rifle for long distance, a manageably large shotgun for medium range, and a .38 pistol for emergencies, with a Halligan tool for hand-to-hand/general utility. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halligan_bar). The thing to remember is that if it can kill you if...

Just doodling in MGF1106, decided to ink it for what it was worth. Experimenting with clothing for Steven (on the right), and I feel pretty satisfied with that.
Now if only I could get hair to cooperate, then we'd be in business.

Re: Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old

It just goes to show that some people read the rules before makinga separate introduction post. As such, let me join that throng and become a relatively respected member of society. Well...this society. My name is Robert Gainey, and my comic is Madnuga. I'd link it, but seeing as I have a perfectly ...

Re: Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

Florida blackout lasts 20 minutes. Compare that to the northeast that was how long? http://www.cfnews13.com/News/Local/2008 ... r_out.html Anyway, just thought I'd chime back in about this point. So how many places have off-the-grid power? We had a little Cessna crash-land into the major powerline ...

Re: SiteAdmin login troubles - take 2 [solved] - NOT

I don't know what you did, but it worked. I can login to the siteAdmin now, though it seems a bit...off. It shows everything twice, as in 2 identical comics to work with. It's not really a bother, and maybe that's just how it is. My first time doing this. Anyway, appreciated very much. Now i have to...

Re: Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

I have a 100% chance of surviving the zombie apocalypse, but I don't need a quiz to tell me that. I'm the resident Southeastern United States Zombie Crisis Managemenet Specialist (as said on my personal business card). If you're in my district, I've got you covered. *note* this is just to up my post...

Re: SiteAdmin login troubles - take 2 [solved]

Siteadmin Troubles

Unfortunately, I'm as new to this website-making business as a newborn ostrich to the Indy 500, and my first thought when things go wrong is that I fouled up somewhere along the line. However, I've read the CGwiki material on the siteadmin login, read every post i could find on it, and still I fail ...

I am as well, but I just had my site activated yesterday evening, so I don't know anything about anything.
