I need to delete my comic...
Hello, To keep things short: I need to delete my comic series; its dead and i'm not going to necro it. I think I accidentally deleted my ACCESS to the comic instead of the site itself. I'd just like tentomushi.comicgenesis.com to kinda go away. If you need proof that I'm the author for validation pu...

Re: Hand Drawn Vrs Digital
To met and windy: thanks for the crits! :) I know I can do a lot better, and I'm very comfortable working on singular digital works (with a mouse though, can't really get a handle on the tablet thing), just not when it comes to comic making. In fact I could do a hell of a lot better with my comic to...

Re: Hand Drawn Vrs Digital
Tell your boyfriend to go to hell. Aww but I luvs him <3. And he has a comic made with a tablet (I would link it but now I'm a little afraid to :P) and it works well for him. I hand draw 96% of my comic. The other 4% is typed text (because my hand writing is terrible) and minor touch ups if I made ...

Hand Drawn Vrs Digital
Probably discussed before but I can't locate the topic so here goes! As an artist, as well as a comic fan, which art for do you prefer and/or think is better? Hand drawn comics or comics made digitally? My boyfriend has a hard on for his tablet and says my art would benefit from using one. To be hon...

Re: Webcomic Hate
Mods, please lock thread. Why are you lobbying so hard for this thing to be locked? It's the most interesting thing to happen to GD in years. Alright, maybe not years , but it does keep yielding good conversation fodder, and it's nice to have much of the webcartoonist angst often displayed on these...

Re: Webcomic Hate
Well the alternative is you defend your point of view to the death with a massive sword of fire (powered by the blood of your victims of course). Your point isn't exactly "invalid" but more a fact that the people here are less than 1% of the total CG population and people dedicated to hanging out o...

Re: Webcomic Hate
Look I didn't mean to piss people off with the comment. This is why, for the most part, I stay away from art communities in general. I take pride in my comic becuase its one of the more..."unique" thing I've come up with in years and while I love drawing it, want it to be good and mine, I don't "tak...

Re: Webcomic Hate
But we have to take everything seriously, we are on the INTERNET! And the internet is SERIOUS BUSINESS! :D Meh, to each thier own. I'm not saying people shouldn't take their ART seriously. I'm just saying if a few people get butt hurt over your update happening at 8:15 on Monday instead of the usua...

Re: Originality in characters
So...you're talking about making your characters visually original? Either way, the best way to come up with unique characters is to just look at people in real life. Real life human beings are incredibly varied in both personality and appearance...think about the most memorable characters in the c...

Re: Webcomic Hate
Your services is free, your fans have NO RIGHT to get pissy if you miss an update or stop. They have every right to be upset. And they have every right to stop reading your comic. Yup they sure do. But until I start getting paid for my time then I have no right to stress out about it or put time/ef...

Re: Webcomic Hate
Well i've taken the time to read the entire topic and I've come to one conclusion. I shall keep it brief as not to keep on beating a now mushy dead horse. Web comic artists: You are taking yourselves WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. Your services is free, your fans have NO RIGHT to get pissy if you miss an update...

Re: Webcomic Hate
I can't draw straight lines, AT ALL, and I'm too lazy to do too much digital edits to my work. In fact I designed the comic so that I'd have to do the least amount of work as possible otherwise I know it'd fall by the waste side.

Re: Mushian Infestation reaches 50 pages!
Aww...thanks so much Red, your words mean a lot ^_^. Especially now, since readership has kinda went way down xD. But I'll keep carrying on. The color covers may stop after chapter 3 though, simply becuase its time consuming and I no longer have the free time at work (where I have access to the awes...

Someone bust out the RAID!(tm)\ Mushian has reached 50 pages and is still going strong! To celebrate here is a fun little thing I set up for my forum, that I'll share with you all now. Re: Coder People?
Dr - We touched on ColdFusion and MySql in school but even the teacher didn't even have a good enough grasp on it. the only reason I passed that section was becuase one of the students in the class was a real ace at programing and he was a pal of mine. He also helped me out HARD CORE with ActionScri...
