What's the url for the site manager? It's been so long, it's out of my browser history.

I'm loading up back comics going back to May. Not all at once -- I haven't made up many of the text files yet!

Looks like I missed my window for updating. I stopped uploading in May after 2 or 3 missed updates. I saw that it was working again (those 2 were added), so I uploaded my latest strip and planned to make a day out of the missed strips that I've been posting on my blog. But it didn't update automatic...

I'm doing well, comic-wise. I may not be on the strictest of schedules, but I don't have advertisers to annoy, and the handful of dedicated fans wait for me. I never thought that I'd still be doing this more than 11 years and 1400 comics later. Some of the supporting (and background) characters star...

The new siteadmin page gives me a 403 error.

I did manage to get to the Manual update page, which was label Deprecated.

I uploaded the wrong file. http://xwhy.comicgenesis.com/d/20160226.html The correct file is now there, too. ftp doesn't work for me. It hangs. Filezilla only shows me 1998 files, ending with June 2015, so I can't see the file. I downloaded a trial version of another ftp program, and the same thing. ...

I stopped going here when my forums weren't used, and when I started getting into conversations at thewebcomiclist ... but if you've seen that place lately.

Mostly, I stick to twitter and Google+ now, posting links to the updates.

I don't know about everyone else, but I kinda stopped checking in when I noticed that there werent' too many other people checking in ... except to mention problems.

I've been trying to use ftp to upload to /comics and /notes/data.
It times out every time.

Tried using siteadmin for the comics (can upload notes through siteadmin?), but that failed, too.

So it would seem that the biggest problem to encouraging participation is that people reading these forums need a CG userid to log in and make a comment. You have a point. I forgot that the forums require a login. Originally, (years ago) I assumed my readers would come from the Comic Genesis community, which naturally turned out not to be true in the slightest.
