Re: Line Through the Comic--What to do?

Been having the same problem, but I only know how to upload my comic through Siteadmin. Is this something that will be fixed, or can another way to upload comics be described, please?

Yeah, Eve - can't tell you how convenient it was that both CG and nsignificant assigned you to me for Secret Santas. Two submissions, but only one comic to research! :P

Re: Dewback Wing chapter complete

The trick will be to keep the story moving at a decent pace in splash pages, but should be doable. I can also certainly try giving more space over to the action frames as opposed to dialog frames. Thanks for the advice! :D

Re: mcDuff's reviewalicious thread

Went through the thread and didn't find any missed requests - looks like you got them all. Thanks for doing this - really thorough and thoughtful reviews. While the opinions of people will often differ, you explained yours very well. Advice helpfully accompanied critique, and you explained comic str...

Re: Who wants to write a Zoology guest comic?!

Hey, can't fault a person for taking pride in their comic and maintaining standards. I love the idea of guest strips, but have enough trouble trying to keep my own comic updated on schedule. Only have done one guest spot so far, but I'd like to take the plunge and try to make that two. Check out my ...

Re: mcDuff's reviewalicious thread

Wow! Thanks for the review – the first one I’ve had for my first comic! It turned out far more positive than I expected, so I’m floating on clouds right now. 8-) Yeah, I knew getting into this that I could never make a cent off Dewback Wing. Fortunately I’ll never have to fear a Cease and Desist fro...

Likewise I prefer digital. Less mess, less fuss, fewer tools, fewer steps, no more trips to the art store, easy and fast to fix mistakes.

Re: Ridiculous comic ban

Reading it now. I can see where they might think this comic has 'tips' - popular smuggling routes, communication techniques, preferred methods of transport - but you could probably learn a lot more from TV and movies. Nothing I've seen so far will help someone become an overnight crime boss. The pro...

Re: Originality in characters

We keep seeing the same themes over and over again because those are the themes people like. Those are the themes people want to see, read, and experience. Generally if you do something truly original, you’re probably going out into fields people don’t really care about – even downright hate. If peo...
