Well looking at their point of view they're probably taking a lot of new comic books and as a business they want to make the most profit and maybe the supply is reaching the demand. Lowering the rate is standard and since they have a monopoly on the artists and writers since their 25 cents per view ...

The only joy that I can get from drawing a background is reminding myself that if I do more backgrounds I will get better at it.

The second one is a banner missing a catch-phrase and it just looks like it should have a catch-phrase so, unless you're going to put a different catch-phrase on it, it'll always pale in comparison to the first one. Or you could centre the title and make it bigger but, even then, the catch-phrase gi...

You have to generate the numbers though, comics like some the ones posted on the wiki there have viewers in the 100,000s. Some of the comics on that list don't have anywhere near 100,000 viewers; I know a few have as little as a quarter that many. I'm not sure how much money they make, but I'm assu...

You have to generate the numbers though, comics like some the ones posted on the wiki there have viewers in the 100,000s. Just enough so that when they link to other sites, the huge masses that click the link exceeds the lesser pages bandwidth. I've this happen with both Penny Arcade and Sluggy Free...

I think the whole point of webcomics is to have fun, get your ideas out, improve your art and writing, and maybe meet some people with the same likes. Starting a webcomic to make a profit is a cause doomed to fail, and even if you get enough to support yourself it's not exactly get rich fast type of...

Johnny's Temps is a comic about a temp named Sue who does the worst jobs imaginable assigned by his demonic boss named Johnny. And he is constantly plagued by a crazy gal named Bobby. It's a bit of a dark comedy. That's about the gist of it. Unfortunately I'm not quite the writer so I cant do it jus...

Johnny's Temps Reaches 20 pages!

Woohoo! We've finally reached the page count land mark. The writer and I now crave some opinions because we really don't know how others view this comic. Please tear us apart in a constructive way.

Warning there is a little blood and violence.

I often suspect that I would enjoy meeting packrat. I don't know if I would like him or not. Or understand him or not. But it would be interesting. I picture him looking like Mr. Nobody from The Doom Patrol. A character based on abstract paintings, went crazy when in a room surrounded by white he s...

In this world there will be the majority that stick to the stereotypes: Men comics tend to be gory or rude with big busted women. Women comics can be romances, with furries, hyper witty people (I dunno why but a lot of women comics I've read the main character is on a double espresso mocha latte wit...

I'm a lazy little artist so when I came across the "re-dipping" problem I just said screw it and bought the Rapidograph pens by Koh-I-Noor. They have an ink well and pretty much work like a regular pen but has that wonderful professional ink look. Unfortunately I can't get the dynamic marks that a b...

Usually when you ink and colour outside of the computer, especially when it is as close to completion as this one is, it becomes very dangerous to add effects via photoshop. It's huge contrast to go from the rough line of inks to the smooth "prefect" lines of digital media. Even if you're just tweak...

Very cute!
I love the variation of the panels it's quite fun, sometimes confusing but still fun. It's also a well written story, I like how it slowly develops but still has that edge to draw people in.
Congrats on the 50 comics.
