9 months of marked improvement. ^^
Hey all. Its been about 9 months since I last pitched my comic (after I officially finished the first chapter.) In that time I theoretically could have concieved a kid; instead I produced a whole new chapter! Oh my baby, look how much its grown! :shucks: I'm all glowing with accomplishment with the ...

These aren't the full pages, just two panels, plus the word bubbles are removed so nothing is obstructed. The main characters are also supposed to be blending in with the crowd. So I guess its a good thing that you can't pick them out, seeing as how you have no idea who they are anyway and neither d...

I agree that the pages can get bit too cluttered sometimes; someone pointed something else out to me previously that I noticed myself when adding words to the comic, the drawings need to be better planned out to allow for text and breathing room. Its something to work on in future pages. The modern ...

We finally finished chapter 1... so uh, review please?
Hey guys. ^^ I'm part of the two person team who puts out the comic Anomic . We just finished up the first chapter at a tidy 28 pages, so I figured it would be awesome to see what you guys thought and am open to hear any criticisms you might have. There's always room for improvement, ya know? Hopefu...

At first, when I read your Mr. Brown comic that you linked in your first post, I opened the whole thing up in tabs on firefox and cycled through it quickly. The thing had me laughing out loud. Then, when I checked it out on your site, I found it a lot less funny. Some how the 'animated' version I un...

Honestly, I don't see why you have to decide. When you print the book, make the back cover blurb more of a general description of the general plot and when you advertise focus on a different element to whatever target audience you're selling to where the ad is located. Advertising in a head shop or ...

I think if every page and panel were like that I'd probably go insane and the comic would never update. As it stands now, doing huge crowded panels like that pushes the update to be delayed a week (something we're trying to avoid, since reliable updates is something I've found has always been an iss...

As a storyteller, panels like this are a gold mine. If, at some later stage, I wanted to introduce a villain or something, then I could go back to a panel like this, pick out one of the characters and use that design for the villain. That way, I could weave 'false' backstory into it and show that t...

Re: Drawing Crowds
First off, learning perspective will help you with crowd scenes by having the people in front taking up a lot of room example . Then the viewer get a better feel of how crowded the room is and then you have to draw less and less of the other people in the crowd as they go back in space. No, I defin...

Drawing Crowds
My brother and I were debating this as we were finishing up our most recent comic page: How much is too much detail and energy when it comes to drawing a crowd? I know a lot of other comics where, when drawing a large group of random unimportant characters gathered in a single place, the artist choo...

earthbound... nobody likes a narc. It doesn't matter if you're civil about it, you're snitching on people for no freaking reason. That touches a nerve. You're like fucking Brainy smurf. I just want to kick your ass out of the building and send you flying several meters away to land on your head. :tw...
