Marty Tanenger - The Great Migration
I'd started Marty up on Comicgen about 3 years ago and recently decided to upgrade to a more amicable Wordpress based site. Where life imitates art, Marty Tanenger Tales imitates everything else in between. From Science Fiction tropes to David Caruso to a giant zombie bear (Zombear, naturally) it's ...

Marty Tanenger 2 Year Anniversary!
That's right, Marty Tanenger Tales is officially 2 years old! Currently in the midst of its 10th story arc (entitled "Director's Cut") with 269 comics in the archive, the travels of Marty Tanenger and hetero-life-partner, Aaron Keith, have taken them from their front yard to the paleolithic era all ...

Marty Tanenger turns 200 (and a Halloween surprise)
Over a year and a half ago I started a little comic strip called Marty Tanenger Tales. Originating as a gag per 3rd panel "Buddy Comedy" strip, it's since evolved into a manic schizophrenic faux-sci-fi pop-culture satire. With 6 major story arcs in the hole and currently in the midst of the seventh,...

Marty Tanenger Tales - Sweeping the Primetime
Brand new storyline up that serves as an ample jumping on point for anyone behind.
Aaron exacts his revenge on the rotting facade of network television, only to be confronted with an ironic twist of fate! Marty acts as the passive enabler as usual.
It all starts here!

Re: Zero Punctuation reviews webcomics
Sounds like my plight with webcomicking in general...How about a story about a videogame designer's internal struggle to create a great game wile living in a culture who views what he creates as childish and unartistic.

Why is it artists all die of complicated diseases?
At least they're not all ODing like young Hollywood.
He'll be missed to say the least.

Re: Guest Week!
That'd be awesome if you've got the time to spare. Guest week has been pushed back to mid/late July due to some padding on the finale of "Caruso Effect" so whatever works, or I can archive it for a later guest week or in case I have to miss a day.
Thanks!

I've left the link up to the main page in my news column for the last week or so. I'll probably leave it up for another couple weeks for good measure.

Didn't they teach you in school that web-comics are a gateway drug?
Read more than 10 pages of Questionable Content or Something Positive and the next thing you know you're holed up in a crack den doing "favors" for legless veteran to score an eight-ball.
Tread lightly.
