I actually have a hard time drawing without music... although my tatses run from odd to stereotypical; which means I have some of the craziest most random playlists in the world. I have one list that includes Metallica, the japanese Sailor Moon music, the Beegees, System of a Down, Pat Benetar, Celt...

Well as far as the web site goes, a organized, prominent menu is first priority. The characters button looks very out of place by itself, so why not make other sections to go with it? You can add an image link to your message board instead and maybe even add a few sections like links, about you, etc...

Formating "Poll"
Well this isn't really a poll so much as another question list wondering what proggies and whatnot people work in. 1.) What Program/s do you use to make your comics? - For now I use a combinataion of Illustrator, and Photoshop, thinking of trying open canvas or painter as well to make some prettier ...

I don't want to sound mean here but the general rule of thumb when it comes to scaling up is- Don't. ( Well unless it's vector ) Scaling up images that much in raster formats will give you horrible results as programs don't handle reproducing the pixels well and it'll give you a very blocky image th...

1) Five fingers, trying to simplify it to four just encourages people to slack on their anatomy and understanding bone structure is very important, even in comics. 2) I usually do color so yes I shade, and even in black and white I'll vary the amount of cross hatching to show differences in skin ton...

So far with everyone I've talked to I've had about equal votes for each side ^^;. Since it's half done anyway the second strip'll be vector and I may just go with a mix of both if I can get scanned line art with transparency to import to illustrator at 600 dpi... And the avatar is from a print style...

Might help if I posted an example of both before asking ^^;; I like sticking to hand inking because it's faster, but I know that a lot of the really big comics use vector, so I've been stuck on which way to go. I'm not really worried about speed so much as creating an appealing professional looking ...

Vector vs Raster
Well I've finally started getting Fantasy Writ going, but have come up with a small conundrum- Should I hand ink and color in a raster program like photoshop? Or should I follow the webcomic trend and do my inking and color in a vector program like illustrator? The one real comic I have posted was h...
