I little something I threw together. I was trying to see if I black-and-whiteness would work in my style, trying to see where I could bring it, so I decided to quickly sketch one of my favourite character in the comic that won't appear in a while. It somehow lead to a slight change of style but meh....

Mr Glambourine, I'm kinda happy you mention this since [AoD] and I WHERE discussing this very subject before. To make a long story short, we're currently discussin wether or not we're going to retcon the first few pages in order to focus more 'on' the comic itself. Oh, this just in- seems we're goin...

Just a little something: don't start off by telling everyone "it's not so good". Have some optimism man! In order for your work to be great, you have to start by thinking it will be great, and that it is great, and work to reach that greatness, and things.

And things I say!

It is quite simple, [AoD]. The comic is such that mere mortals explode when they load the page, since their dna isn't able to survive the strain.

Silly.

I love the result, though I wonder if it would fit stylisticly with what I have going on... Regardless, the lesson here seems to be about using the smudge tool, something I constantly forget about. Though I'm not sure what you mean by 'art history brush', I alas merely have Photoshop Elements, and n...

I see what you mean, and I really need to learn to look stuff up for referals... And oddly enough, I didn't even THINK about using the smudge tool, that would have been wise. It's just odd, since usually I don,t have trouble drawing smoke, like Lick's eyes for example, but drawing something WITHIN s...

Welp, this is it. Shield! If you've ever wished to see your main character abstracted down to featurelessness in an image that appears to have been painted by a drunk sailor, that's, well... that's an odd wish. Also, although your comic seems to be a rather serious thing, you get quite silly in your...

I won't really have time to do mine until, like, late this afternoon.

By the by, concerning leperdoctor's work: wow! That's really good, I love the result. And damn: you actually paid attention to Lick's gibberish!

So yeah. Needless to say, I love it, I love seeing the results thus far.

Smoke

So... yeah. Anyone know of a good way to draw smoke or fog without resorting to filters and opacity? As in, in just straight drawing or painting and stuff? This is an attempt I made of showing someone sifting through a thick white smoke and finally handling something, his hands still incased in the ...

So... is THERE a deadline? Mostly because I want to read up on whom I'm assigned in order to get a good feel of the characters.

I dunno, I have always had less difficulty drawing girls, mostly out of practice I think... I tend to actually find guys somewhat boring to draw... Less shapes, and less variety of possible clothings.

So this is a little computer doodle I did the other day.

I was practicing drawing smiles, something I don,t do all that often.. Except what started off as my first smile kinda devolved into this whole sketchy thing.

Drawn by mouse.

Moo.

*raises an appandage*

Sure, why not.

At least my archive isn't really big yet, so it won't be too much of a burden for who ever ends up with my name. Good luck finding a main character though.

In case anyone misunderstood my words, I didn't mean to say we enjoyed being forced into fighting between the priorities between the real reality and the alternate one in our minds. I guess I just wanted to remark on how a lot of what was said could be seen from an outside view, without context. Man...

Too be fair, if I could, I'd probably work 100% traditional, probably painted inks, like my avatar, but time and consistancy are an important issue. Most days, I only have about two hours to work on a page, and my buffer is constantly dwindling. And I dunno, drawing by mouse isn't that hard. It's ju...

To everyone who has posted in this thread that complained about the lack of critism:

Everything you have ever done ever smells like old bananas.
