I was trying to see if I black-and-whiteness would work in my style, trying to see where I could bring it, so I decided to quickly sketch one of my favourite character in the comic that won't appear in a while. So... yeah. Anyone know of a good way to draw smoke or fog without resorting to filters and opacity? As in, in just straight drawing or painting and stuff? So... is THERE a deadline? Mostly because I want to read up on whom I'm assigned in order to get a good feel of the characters.

I dunno, I have always had less difficulty drawing girls, mostly out of practice I think... I tend to actually find guys somewhat boring to draw... Less shapes, and less variety of possible clothings.
