W00t! My suggestion is rocking in other places as well! Ok, random critiquing...first off, that looks freakin' incredible. Best art I've seen in a long time. :D Second off...I'm not sure the trigger is in the right place...I mean, I'm no gun expert, but if I remember correctly, when the hammer is ba...

Save it as a .png. They do gradients much better. Example is below: http://www.maj.com/gallery/NomadicPhoenix/Stuff/png.png The .png version. http://www.maj.com/gallery/NomadicPhoenix/Stuff/jpg.jpg The .jpg version. Mind you, the difference is hard to see at this size, but if you look close, you can...

That's an incredible improvement in my opinion. That adds a large amount more detail that isn't there . See, half the awesomeness is that I have to fill in the details based on the sketchy part. If you just have the inked version, everything is cut and dry...you know where everything begins and ends...

Alrighty, I just read through your archive (all 51 of them), and I must say that you seem to be doing quite well without any changes! Your artistic style is simplistic yet entertaining. You may not have 400 levels of detail, but with the way that your comic is structured, you don't need it. I wouldn...

Excellent. Completely amazing. However, like someone mentioned, when you go from sketches to inked/colored, you lose alot of the effect that should be there when doing a WWII comic. Now, here's what I think would be awesome...keep the colored version...but overlay the sketchy one over top of it and ...

1. What do you include on your character info pages? My personal rule of thumb is that I don't make the character info pages any longer than the pictures I have of the characters. I really don't want to sit through a 10 page essay on one character, and I doubt anyone else does either. Short, simple...

Odd...it's always worked for me. That's where I've put them. *Shrug*...I don't use /workspace/images/ at all. But don't listen to me. He's been around for longer. :P

This is a CG-wide thing. Pretty much every CG site is down in some regard. My advice is to backup your site if you can, sit back, and wait for things to start working again. Unfortunately, this isn't something you can do anything about. Just wait patiently for the uber peoples at CG to do their magi...

This could be due to several different things. I'll list a few and let you figure it out. :) Reason 1: It could be due to the number of things you have in your archives. If you have less than 10-12 comics in your archives, they may not show up properly. All you need to do is have around 10-12 comics...

I like the first one best...having "MAN" the same size as "GENOCIDE" seems a bit much. The second one is good, but there is too much color. When I think of genocide (not like I do very often), the color of black comes to mind. Not green and red. Sooo, you may want to stick with blacks, grays, and wh...

What are you asking for? I mean, this is perfection on a stick, my friend! Honestly, I can't see how it'd get any better...oh wait, I do. MAKE THE COMIC! :D

Don't hesitate; don't think. Just do it. :P

Brings new meaning to "playing with your Wii." Unfortunately, I don't have other forms of connection to the internet. The only thing I take into consideration when I code my site is browser size. I try to keep things within an acceptable range for most screens (from 800x600 up). Thus the reason ever...

No, GIMP is a freeware program that is designed to perform similar to Photoshop. Thus, if you have Photoshop, you're better off from the beginning.

Jasc Paint Shop Pro. I currently draw mine entirely on PSP9, and although my art isn't exactly a shining example of what it can do, it can produce some gorgeous stuff when you figure out how to use it. Just like anything else, it takes some getting used to. :)

You serious? I'm impressed...I usually end up with around 100-150 layers for a single comic...of course, I'm using Paint Shop Pro...which might make a difference. :)
