Creative Collaboration: Working with a writer/artist.

I’m considering enlisting a writers help in producing my comic. I’ve never worked with a writer before though and am naturally curious. That’s why I made this post, I want to know more about how others partnerships have worked. It is my hope that I will come to a better understanding of what I may e...

Re: A 'tiny' ftp image problem.

Thanks Dr Neo Lao, your comments made me look at the problem in a new light and I solved my problem while discovering something about html that I had not noticed clearly before. That problem was really bugging me, I'm so glad its fixed.

A 'tiny' ftp image problem. Solved ^_^

*note I sent a similar message to STrRedWolf at his comicgenesis email, listed on the help page, but haven't gotten a response yet. I'm posting it here to see if any one can give me a hand. Okay I know what my problem is and I know what I did wrong, but I cant change that and I don't have a solution...

http://guardsman.comicgenesis.com/ Your search is over...well not really, but that is my "manga". I use it as a skill building project, and as you can see I am far better at drawing than when I started a good eight months ago. Also http://viistar.comicgenesis.com/ is an awesome manga by ViiStar, pe...

The biggest thing that ever gets in my way from doing my comic is video games. I really don't have any thing else to do, I had a job for a while, but I quit it because it sucked. Guess I have a lot of freedom, wont last for much longer though, so don't be envious. You know the story of the ants and ...

needlessly dissecting Guardsman's posts Please don't do that, trust me, you'll just end up talking your selves in circles. Hell I don't even know how to spell correctly, stupid crappy Vancouver school system! But yeah, to the person who was asking what Zuda is about, well its about 'what makes the ...

Re: I'm hoping this will be a flash in the pan.

The Zuda loader takes a while because they put a lot of extras in the flash viewer. Also you are loading at least 8 pages which are most likely, at the high quality that they display at, around two megabytes. Personally I don't believe its wasting all that much bandwidth. The images are compacted in...

So wait, whats the problem with flash? Its a great application for web comics in my opinion. It gives you the ability to structure your comic in a single page, without a lot of html surfing. In counter argument, the Zuda flash viewer is highly complicated, flashy indeed. Personally I would tone it d...

Damn, why do I have to live in the second largest country in the world. Canada, were huge, any conventions we have force us to travel usually over 2000 miles! All the great comic conventions are always in the states any ways, and I dont have a passport... Oh well, cool stuff, maybe when I get around...

I think I may need…

A writing partner for my manga. I’ve been having a hard time getting motivated to do the writing behind my Manga, I have the characters, and the goals, but connecting the dots has gotten pretty difficult for me lately. I think this is because I work solo and I don’t have any feed back for any of my ...

sounds like something fun to do... only they don't actually tell you whats involved with the contests so lord knows what I just signed myself up for. :o Sounds to me its basically who has "the best" comic of them all. I'm just curious if its limited to the comic content, or if they will evaluate on...

Bustertheclown makes some excellent points, but I still feel uneasy with the prospect of working with a cooperation. Especially if I have to secede the rights to my IP but that’s more paranoia than any thing else. Personally, my end goal for Hegemonia is publication. Of course I’ll have to go back a...

Project wonderful and CG?

I know this has been asked before, but I just wanted to shoot it out quick again. So can I put a project wonderful add on my CG site? I only ask this because I’ve been thinking about it, and I thought I read some place on the forums that as long as the ad is not above the CG ad its fine. Who knows, ...
