I just love how Haz can draw complicated poses for people (panel 1 of 206, Path holding himself up), yet more 'regular' poses seem a bit more unrefined. You are learning in reverse HW.

Well it is being set up for. Cress is already taking a protective father/brother/guardian figure role. And because this is a story we all know where that leads.
Maple is just comic relief. I think. I've been known to be wrong.

Was it ever said before that Ethereal was Araceli mother? I checked the comics where Araceli was introduced but it wasn't mentioned I think.

She'll have some sort of break down and compare herself to the villains in her stories. Or something.
I didn't care much for her before as a character or much at all but this little out burst makes me giddy for character development.
